The Young and the Restless is one of the longest-running daytime soaps on TV, and it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. Over the years, we have seen many characters come and go, and it is true that every fan certainly has their favorites. Viewers tend to take to social media from time to time in order to voice their opinions regarding what is currently happening on the show, and after so many dramatic situations, it is only natural that millions of people are waiting for more. The show has been in syndication since 1973 and with such a huge following, it has received some well-deserved feedback about what fans are really enjoying. Summer and Sharon are two of everyone’s favorite characters on The Young and the Restless, and recently, viewers of the show were intrigued to see a connection between the two of them that they never expected. Now, fans of the show want more scenes with Summer and Sharon. 

Summer has quite a lot going on in her life right now

Right now, things are anything but simple for Summer. According to Soap Dirt, it would appear as if her fiancée is the father of a 3-year-old — and that’s not all. He never actually knew about the child, and now that the boy’s mother has moved back into the family home, it has made things a lot worse. Summer’s fiancée, Kyle, naturally wants to do the right thing, but, as anyone knows, that isn’t always easy. Harrison, his son, is the innocent victim in all of this, and it turns out that his mom is really looking to make Summer’s life as difficult as possible. It goes without saying that her parents are worried — they have even encouraged Summer to postpone her wedding. She has suddenly found herself faced with the job of possibly becoming a step-mother to a young boy, and she definitely needs to regain control over her life.

Although Summer is trying to bond with her potential step-son, Soap Opera Spy reports that things are hard. Everyone is dealing with the stress, and it is taking its toll, especially for Summer. 

The relationship between Summer and Sharon on ‘The Young and the Restless’ is complicated

Summer and Sharon have not always had the strongest relationship. Fans of the show are well aware of the fact that Sharon once tampered with a paternity test, leading Summer to believe that her biological father was actually someone he wasn’t. In fact, according to Fandom, there was a time when Summer actually had a deep hatred for Sharon, and it looked like the two of them would never be on good terms.

Even though there had been friction between Summer and Sharon for quite a while, it looks like Sharon is the one to who Summer finally turns to for advice when her life is a complete mess. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Summer really needs some guidance, so she talks to Sharon about the situation with Kyle, his ex, Tara, and their son. The two talk about the best way for Summer to handle everything that is suddenly going on in her life, and for the first time, it looks like they have really formed a connection. She talks to Sharon about a job offer that she recently received and how she should proceed. For the first time, Sharon gives great advice, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. For this reason, they have expressed they want to see the two in more scenes, as this one was absolutely fantastic.
