This Is How Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble Met
Since 2014, Corey Gamble has been a staple in the KarJenner inner circle. Gamble seemed to appear by matriarch Kris Jenner‘s side one day and he hasn’t left since. Gamble is now a constant on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and he was even involved in a tiff with Scott Disick over the behavior of Disick and Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter, Penelope.
On more recent episodes of KUWTK, Gamble and Jenner have been grossing out fans and the KarJenner siblings with their constant PDA and references to sex.
With their 25-year age gap, this pair is certainly different, but they seem to work. Here’s an inside look into their love story.
Corey Gamble has been secretive about his background
When Gamble suddenly appeared in the KarJenner inner circle out of nowhere, everyone was suspicious. “Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you. We’ve never met any of your family members,'” Kim Kardashian West shared in an episode of KUWTK. “I agree with that statement from Kanye,” Khloé Kardashian added. “We don’t know anything about Corey like that.”
Gamble was forced to defend himself. “I know a person like me gets criticized for not talking about other peoples’ business,” he revealed. “Or people will call you mysterious if you don’t talk a lot. I’ve been so sacred in a lot of significant peoples’ lives and I don’t talk about it, but it’s not my place to talk about it.”
From what we understand, Gamble works for music executive and manager, Scooter Braun who manages, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato.
Gamble has described his job as “just basically making sh*t happen in the music industry.”
‘KUWTK’ fans think Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble’s relationship feels forced
Though the KarJenners have warmed up to Gamble since he first stepped onto the scene, KUWTK fans have been less welcoming. In fact, amid a recent storyline about Jenner and Gamble’s supposedly active sex life, fans are convinced it’s all for the cameras.
“He tries to comfort her or give any type of advice she always looks so annoyed with him” one fan said on Reddit. Another added, “They have no chemistry! I don’t see what they have in common and Kris’s kids clearly don’t like him.”
Another fan pointed out how all of this PDA and affection seemingly came out of nowhere. “We’ve never ever seen them hug or kiss and all of sudden it’s multiplied by 100,” they explained. “Sounds like they had a meeting and were like ok. The public wants more baby videos and affection between Corey and Kris. GO!”
This is how Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble met
Jenner and Gamble met in August 2014 at fashion designer Riccardo Tisci’s 40th birthday bash in Ibiza. Jenner was just moving forward following her divorce from Caitlyn Jenner the year previous.
“She had on this nice ass dress and she was looking good,” Gamble told Khloé Kardashian on an episode of KUWTK. “I waited until she, you know, was off on her own. I came up and started talking. Then I asked her to come up on the little stage and dance, so we started dancing. I just tried saying, ‘You’re beautiful. I’d love to get to know you,’ and it went from there.”
In November of that same year, Gamble attended Jenner’s 59th birthday party and by March of 2015 he was popping up on the reality series. For her part, Jenner seems smitten.
“He’s great,” she told US Weekly in 2018. “Corey is so easy and, at the same time, so smart and intelligent. He’s always one step ahead of me, and he loves the kids, and the kids love him, and he loves the grandchildren. He really is such a great guy.”
