‘This Is Us’: How Does Chrishell Stause Feel About Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas’ Secret Wedding?
It’s been a tough few years for Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause. In 2019, she and This Is Us star Justin Hartley got divorced suddenly. Then, she began dating her Dancing with the Stars co-star, Keo Motsepe. That relationship only lasted a few months. Now, Hartley has already gotten remarried. How does Stause feel about it all?

Stause’s divorce took her completely by surprise.
“He texted me that we were filed,” she told her costar Mary Fitzgerald on Selling Sunset. “Forty-five minutes later, the world knew.”
At first, Stause couldn’t belive that Hartley was serious.
“I talked to him right after because I thought that must be a joke,” she said. “But that was kind of the end of the communication.”
“When I found out, I was minutes before leaving the house for work so I immediately just grabbed a few things and I just got out of there as fast as I could,” she said on the show. “I don’t think I really knew where I was going or what I was going to do, but I just had to leave.”
Stause struggled with reliving her divorce as it played out on the Netflix show.
“I obviously really truly love him and it’s unfortunate the way that everything happened and the timing of everything, because I still had a month to go of shooting the show when this all went down,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Hopefully we can get to a place where one day we will look back at this and laugh, I don’t know… hopefully. It’s very unfortunate and relationships are hard.”
Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas’ relationship
Hartley has actually known his new wife, Sofia Pernas, since 2015 when she joined The Young and the Restless. The two played on-screen love interests for a year before Hartley left the show for This Is Us. Pernas also left the show in 2016 to appear in other shows like Jane the Virgin.
In June of 2020, Hartley and Pernas went public with their relationship. The couple posted each other on social media for the first time in December.
How does Chrishell Stause feel about Justin Hartley and Sophia Pernas’ marriage?
Pernas and Hartley showed up to the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards together over the weekend, sporting their wedding rings.
Though the relationship moved fast, Stause isn’t exactly shocked.
“It’s not shocking to her. Chrishell knows Justin falls fast and moves quickly,” a source close to Stause told E! News. “She wishes them well and has moved on from that part of her life. She’s finally been able to heal her heartbreak and it’s taken a while for her to be in a good place.”
Ultimately, Stause is just trying to remain busy.
“Chrishell is trying to stay positive and busy,” another source told Entertainment Tonight. “She is focused on her real estate career, filming Selling Sunset, and surrounding herself with good friends and loved ones.”
