‘This Is Us’ Season 5: NBC Updates Fans on the Next 3 Episodes

NBC will air new ‘This Is Us’ Season 5 episodes for the next three weeks
On May 11, This Is Us Season 5 returns with episode 14 after another lengthy hiatus. The NBC drama also confirmed new episodes for the next three weeks.
“Bust out your calendar and carve out the next big three for the Pearsons. #ThisIsUs returns with all-new episodes starting Tuesday on @NBC,” the show’s Twitter account wrote.
Now, This Is Us Season 5 Episode 15 will air on Tuesday, May 18. Then the grand finale, episode 16, will be released on May 25. That said, the last episode of This Is Us Season 5 will drop at a new time, 10 p.m. ET.
‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Episodes 14 and 15 gear up for the grand finale
According to NBC, This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14, “The Music and the Mirror,” focuses on Beth’s (Susan Kelechi Watson) career, issues between Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan), and someone from Kevin’s (Justin Hartley) past. In new teaser photos, the network also revealed Kate and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) will go wedding dress shopping with Madison (Caitlin Thompson).
Meanwhile, This Is Us Season 5 Episode 15, “Jerry 2.0,” highlights Kevin and Madison’s bachelor and bachelorette parties. So whatever happens to Kevin in episode 14 won’t impact his wedding, at least not immediately.
NBC reveals what the ‘This Is Us’ Season 5 finale is about
The description for This Is Us Season 5 Episode 16, “The Adirondacks,” will not surprise you. According to NBC, the upcoming finale episode will feature Kevin and Madison’s wedding. So prepare yourself for some drama and tears.
Meanwhile, a wedding is the perfect setting for big conversations to take place, and we expect nothing less from the Pearsons. Following Kevin and Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown) discussion in the April 13 episode, director Kay Oyegun hinted that more heart-to-hearts might be on the way as This Is Us Season 5 ends and season 6 begins.
“The rest of the season I’m really excited for, season 6 I’m really excited for. Just because, when you all of a sudden have touched the third rail, you really can say anything,” Oyegun told People. “I think there’s a freedom that they all have that is very exciting.”
This Is Us Season 5 airs Tuesday nights on NBC.
