The This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14 sneak peek shows Kevin might be in trouble. The night before Kate’s wedding, it’s clear he had someone in his hotel room — and episode 14 will reveal who. The promo for the episode shows he may have spent time with his ex-wife, Sophie; the wedding singer, Arielle; or his ex-fling, Cassidy.
“Failing at dating is sort of a pattern these days,” Kevin tells Sophie at the beginning of “The Night Before the Wedding” promo. “I think I’m just done with love.”
The promo then switches over to Kevin talking to the wedding singer at the bar. “I like to watch people,” she tells him. “Who are you waiting for?”
Then, the scene switches to Cassidy asking Kevin for help getting her dress off. He unzips the back of her dress in a hotel room.
Finally, Kevin and Sophie are talking once again. “You’re probably exhausted,” Kevin tells Sophie. “We should probably get back, right?”
“No, I think I just got a second wind,” Sophie responds.
The episode writer says fans need to brace for ‘thirsty women’
Who does Kevin choose in This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14? According to the writer for the episode, Danielle Bauman, episode 14 features “thirsty women.”
“It’s everything you wanted — even if you didn’t know you wanted it,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s for all the romantics out there.”
When the publication asked what fans should “brace” for, Bauman responded, “Thirsty women, questionable poetry, and true love.”
With “thirsty women” in mind, could this mean that Kevin had more than one woman in his hotel room the night before Kate’s wedding? Or perhaps all three women are after Kevin, and he only chooses one?
The writer for episode 13, Jon Dorsey, says Kevin may explore all of his options. “Kevin has had a lot of interesting love interests throughout the show’s life,” Dorsey told Entertainment Weekly. “Sophie is certainly one of them, Cassidy is certainly one of them. And we’re introducing a new potential love interest in this wedding singer, Arielle, who is a friend of Phillip’s. What I can say is they are all potential suitors.”
Who does Kevin marry in ‘This Is Us’ in the future? Fans think they know
The This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14 writer won’t give away who Kevin marries in the future just yet. But fans think they know who it’s been since the very beginning — and that’s Sophie.
Several moments during Kate’s wedding make fans think Sophie and Kevin end up together. Sophie wore a green dress to the wedding — an important color for the couple. Additionally, she wore her grandmother’s emerald ring. Her grandmother and grandfather rekindled their romance even after they divorced and went on to see other people. The ring signifies that Kevin and Sophie still have a chance despite their rocky past. Kevin also quoted The Princess Bride during Kate’s wedding. Kevin and Sophie both have a connection to the film.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens between Kevin and Sophie, but the signs seem clear.
