Beth and Madison noticed women’s clothes were strewn about Kevin’s hotel room, prompting suspicion that he may have had a romantic tryst the night before the wedding. And some fans think Kevin and the wedding singer, Arielle, were the ones who got together. Here’s where fans have seen Arielle actor Katie Lowes before.

Did Kevin and Sophie get together before Kate’s wedding, or was it Kevin and Cassidy who had a romantic night together? Fans won’t discover the answer until This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14. Kevin’s possible interest in the wedding singer, Arielle, sparked suspicion during the wedding, too. The preview for the next episode shows them getting closse.
Episode 14, titled “The Night Before the Wedding,” will focus on what happened with Kevin before Kate’s wedding. The promo for the episode opens with Kevin and Sophie talking about their love lives. It then focuses on a scene between Kevin and Arielle.
“I like to watch people,” Arielle says in a voiceover while sitting at the wedding bar with Kevin. “Who are you waiting for?”
Episode 13 writer Jon Dorsey spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Arielle and Kevin. “And we’re introducing a new potential love interest in this wedding singer, Arielle, who is a friend of Phillip,” he said. “What I can say is they are all potential suitors. Obviously, fans will understand why in terms of Sophie and Cassidy — and hopefully, they’ll understand why Arielle is a potential suitor who could be perfect for Kevin as well [once] they’ve watched these two episodes.”

This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14 will feature plenty more of Arielle and Kevin. And fans have seen Arielle actor Katie Lowes before.
IMDb reports Lowes most recently starred in the TV series How We Roll as Jen. She was also in Netflix’s Inventing Anna as Rachel DeLoache Williams. Rachel was conned in real life by Anna Delvey.
From 2012 to 2018, Lowes starred in Scandal as Quinn Perkins.
It seems Lowes also has a number of voice acting credits to her name, though these may be less identifiable by fans. She voiced the Badger Doctor in Zootopia, Abigail in Big Hero 6, and Candlehead in Wreck-It Ralph.
Will Sophie and Kevin get together after the wedding?
With a possible budding romance between Kevin and Arielle, what does this mean for Sophie and Kevin? Sophie and Kevin married young, and they divorced after Kevin cheated on her. Given the This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14 promo, it seems possible they’ll rekindle their romance. And show writer Jon Dorsey said Kevin’s “true love” will be revealed in the end.
“I’d say that the end of 613 certainly sets up a mystery that will be answered sooner than later,” Dorsey told Deadline regarding Kevin’s mystery hotel room woman. “It’s safe to assume that the person revealed at the end of this mystery will be Kevin Pearson’s true love and that his romantic journey will have concluded. All three suitors presented in 613 are certainly viable options.“
