This ‘Jersey Shore’ Fan Made a Chart Documenting the Roommate’s Hookups, but Is It Accurate?
In the past, the Jersey Shore roommates were no strangers to hooking up — especially with each other. One fan took the time to put together a chart documenting the fights and hookups between the Jersey Shore roommates. But now, some fans are contesting the information.
Hookups were a big part of the original ‘Jersey Shore’
During the early days of Jersey Shore, many of the roommates shared the same goal: hook up with the good-looking men and women of Seaside Heights, New Jersey. After all, the beloved Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was quoted as saying: “If you want to make out with me, just ask — I will say yes.”
When the roommates couldn’t find suitable hookups, they would often make out with each other. One Jersey Shore fan took the time to chart which roommates hooked up with who on the show.
Some hookups were cut from the ‘Jersey Shore’ storyline
To be fair, it can be difficult to keep track of which roommate hooked up with whom. That’s because not every hookup was caught on camera.
Before her on-again-off-again relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola was pursued by Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino in season 1 of the MTV series, as documented on the show. But what editors left out was the fling Mike had going on with Jenni “JWoww” Farley at the same time.
During an AMA on Reddit, a fan asked if Farley and Sorrentino’s hookup was true. A former producer confirmed that it was. Ironically, the punch Farley threw at Sorrentino in Atlantic City was caused by his feelings for Giancola.
“[Farley and Sorrentino] hooked up in Season 1, which is what fueled the punch in the mouth,” the producer said, addding:
[That] was later turned by the story production. Originally, Jenni and Mike just made out but Jenni definitely pursued him more when she was intoxicated. The way Mike pursued Sam was not the way he pursued Jenni. [She] was just on the back burner and [she] didn’t like that.
The fan-made ‘Jersey Shore’ hook up chart
A fan on Reddit put together an Excel sheet documenting which Jersey Shore roommates have had sex, made out, fought, or done a combination of those things.
“The fact that ‘had sex and fist fought’ is even an option is so on-brand with this show,” a fellow fan commented.
According to this fan-made chart, the roommate for most fist fights goes to Angelina Pivarnick, who fought with Farley and Polizzi and had sex with/fist-fought Sorrentino and Pauly DelVecchio.
This chart also says the roommate who has had the most sex with another roommate is a tie between Snooki and Angela. According to this fan, Snooki allegedly had sex with friend Deena Cortese, Mike, and Vinny Guadagnino. On the other hand, Angela allegedly had sex with Vinny, Mike, and Pauly.
And in terms of the roommate with the most fist fights under her belt — this chart deems that title belongs to JWoww. She fought most notably with Sammi, Angelina, and of course, Mike.
While many fans loved the chart, others were quick to call out the miscount regarding the most hookups. The roommate with the most makeout sessions is technically The Situation, who hooked up with Angelina, JWoww, Deena, and Nicole throughout their Jersey Shore adventure.
Some ‘Jersey Shore’ fans are contesting the hook-up chart
MTV cameras didn’t document all of the encounters mentioned on this fan-made chart, leaving some calling it a farce.
“This isn’t accurate,” commented one fan. “Jenny hooked up with Mike [and] probably just made out. Deena made out with Pauly. Angelina made out with Pauly, [but they didn’t have] sex.”
The chart’s creator made an updated version, but there are still some inaccuracies according to the aforementioned producer.
Regardless of what fans have documented, the Jersey Shore roommates’ days hooking up with each other are in the past. Many of them are married and have families now. Still, there will always be those fans who want to relive the original days of Jersey Shore.
