Thomas Markle Unfairly Accuses Meghan Markle of Dumping All Her Family

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s family drama has been ongoing since before she was married to Prince Harry. Ever since her half-brother and sister expressed their disappointment about not receiving invitations to Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding, fans around the world have been well aware of the awkward situation that she is dealing with to this day.

As we know, Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, had originally planned to fly to England in order to walk his daughter down the aisle. But then staged paparazzi photos and health issues caused him to back out at the last second.

Since then, Meghan has been estranged from just about all of her family members except for her mom, Doria Ragland. This hasn’t stopped the Markle family from voicing their opinions regarding Meghan and Prince Harry over the last few years.

Meghan’s half-sister and father, in particular, have been extremely outspoken about so many issues involving the royal couple. Since the surprising announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan stepping down as “senior royals,” Thomas Markle has been unfairly accusing Meghan of dumping all her family.

Almost immediately after Meghan and Prince Harry announced their decision to step back as senior royals, Thomas Markle made a statement about how he felt.

So, what did Meghan’s estranged dad have to say? Well, he said that their resignation was “embarrassing” and that they have brought hurt to so many people around them. Markle also talked about how he felt that Meghan should have known what she was getting into by marrying the grandson of the queen and that the couple’s leaving England is the wrong decision.

Although there is nothing stopping Markle from talking openly about how he feels, it seems pretty unfair that he is so opinionated about a situation that he is not personally involved in. Given that he is estranged from his daughter, and doesn’t have a relationship with Harry either, he’s not exactly relevant to their decision.

Meghan’s relationship with her dad

To say that Meghan and her father have had a complicated relationship is a huge understatement. According to Good Housekeeping, Markle has been living in Mexico for the last few years.

Right up until the days immediately before the royal wedding, he seems to have had a pretty good relationship with Meghan. Everyone was pretty surprised when Markle backed out of going to the wedding, and he and Meghan haven’t spoken since.

At one point, Markle even went so far as to release details of a personal letter that Meghan wrote to him, and he has also done more than his fair share of interviews. There is no doubt that Meghan and Prince Harry are deeply hurt.

The sad reality is that Markle is not only estranged from his daughter but has never actually met his son-in-law or grandson, Archie Harrison.

It has been a few months since Meghan and Prince Harry announced their departure from the royal family and Markle has taken the opportunity to speak to the media more than once.

So, what is he saying now? Well, it seems that Meghan’s dad is accusing her of dumping not only him but the entire family, including her mother’s side, and even the royals.

While he didn’t go into detail of anything that may have happened between himself and Meghan, he stressed the fact that she has cut just about everyone off, and he is saying just how upset he is. Markle went on to say that Meghan and Prince Harry are being disrespectful to so many different family members.
