TOMORROW X TOGETHER Release Promotion Schedule for ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’
On April 29, K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER announced that their second studio album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, will be released on May 31. Leading up to the album’s release, Big Hit Music shared a promotion schedule so MOA can look forward to teasers about TXT‘s album throughout the coming weeks.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER will release a new album in May
Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai debuted as TXT in 2019. Before the upcoming The Chaos Chapter era, TXT released two EPs and a studio album as part of The Dream Chapter album trilogy. The quintet also released a standalone EP called minisode1: Blue Hour in October 2020.
Big Hit Music shared a trailer for The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE on April 29 at 11 a.m. EDT. The teaser signified the end of the minisode1: Blue Hour era and the beginning of a new album series.
At the start of the teaser, a pixelated X from the band’s minisode1: Blue Hour era transforms into a blue cube. This cube then shatters into multiple pieces and forms the X of the TXT logo.
At the end of the trailer, a pink heart emerges in the blue X and beats loudly. The teaser then reveals The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will be released on May 31 at 6 p.m. KST.
According to a press release, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE delves into new, expansive and in-depth musicality for the opening of their new Chaos Chapter series.”

On May 2, Big Hit Music shared a promotion schedule for The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE on social media. To kick off promotions for the album, there will be a hashtag event using the hashtag #HEART_OF_MOA beginning on May 4 at 11 a.m. EDT. The hashtag event will take place on Weverse and Twitter.
A concept trailer for TXT’s upcoming studio album will be released at 11 a.m. EDT on May 10. There will be three different concept photos released for The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, Concept Photo: World, Concept Photo: Boy, and Concept Photo: You.
Concept Photo: World will be shared online on May 15 at 11 a.m. EDT. On May 17, Big Hit Music will release Concept Photo: Boy at 11 a.m. EDT. Concept Photo: You will be posted online at 11 a.m. EDT on May 19.
There will be multiple music video teasers for ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’
The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE is TXT’s second studio album. According to the promotion schedule, the tracklist for the album will be revealed on May 24 at 11 a.m. EDT.
An album preview will be shared with TXT fans at 11 a.m. EDT on May 25. On TikTok, a track highlight will be revealed on May 26 at 11 a.m. EDT. The first music video teaser for the lead single from The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will be released on May 28 at 11 a.m. EDT.
A second music video teaser will be posted online at 11 a.m. EDT on May 29. Leading up to the release of the official music video, there will be a comeback countdown event on YouTube on May 31 at 4:55 a.m. EDT.
The music video for the lead single of The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE will be released on May 31 at 5 a.m. EDT. After the album is released, the K-pop group will put on a comeback show on YouTube at 7 a.m. EDT on May 31. The members of TXT will then participate in a comeback VLIVE at 7 a.m. EDT on June 1.
