Tomorrow X Together released the cover on SoundCloud
The K-pop group released the cover of Grande’s song exclusively on their SoundCloud channel, making it free for fans to listen to the song in its entirety. Big Hit Entertainment’s ADORA provided the background vocals for the song.
TXT’s “thank u, next” cover is an acoustic version of the song, and it incorporates a soft piano instrumental. While TXT are already known for their impressive singing, rapping, and dancing skills, the cover further demonstrates the members’ vocal prowess.
With Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Yeonjun, and Huening Kai’s soothing vocals and the acoustic instrumentals, the group turned Grande’s catchy pop hit into a dreamy ballad.
Once TXT’s cover of “thank u, next” was uploaded on SoundCloud, the group shared the song with their fans on Twitter.
“MOA!!! This is the second group cover that we’re sharing!!! It’s a calm and warm song so I think MOA will enjoy it a lot!!! Please show a lot of love for TXT’s second group cover, ‘thank u, next,'” the group tweeted.
