Why Travis Barker’s Ex, Shanna Moakler, Calls His Romance With Kourtney Kardashian ‘Weird’
Since Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker started dating, they haven’t shied away from packing on some intense PDA on social media. While most think their lovey-dovey posts are sweet, the Blink-182 drummer’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, is weirded out and explained her reasoning during a new interview.

Remember a few months back when Moakler publicly shaded Barker and Kardashian’s relationship on social media?
Well, she’s now explaining the reasoning behind her posts, sharing that the new couple’s intense PDA on social media is just “weird” to her.
“I’m very much over my ex. It’s been a long time. However, do I think some of the PDA that he’s doing with her is weird? [Yes],” Moakler, who was married to Barker from 2004-2006 and shares two kids with him, tells People in a new interview.
“The movie, True Romance, that I feel like they’ve been bonding over was the theme of our wedding,” she continues. “Our daughter’s named after the character in the movie. Flying banners overhead like we did on Meet the Barkers. Stuff like that … I just think it’s weird.”

Though Moakler has “no ill will” toward Kardashian or Barker, she did share the one thing that really bothers her about their relationship — and it has to do with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s loyal fans.
“If anything, my only issue with this whole sort of craziness that’s been going on is her fan base … it’s really almost to the point of being bullied,” Moakler says of negative comments she’s received online. “I look at social media as a place to have fun. It should be positive.”
Moakler notes that her “shady” posts about the couple were all in good fun and that they were never an attack on her ex’s new romance with Kardashian.
“Matthew and I have been posting stuff in a joking manner, but not so much to attack Kourtney and Travis,” says Moakler, who’s been dating model Matthew Rondeau for about a year. “It was more to annoy her fan base because at some point you have to make a joke out of it.”

Though it seemed like Moakler wasn’t a fan of Barker and Kardashian’s relationship, she’s assured the media that she is supportive of the couple’s romance.
She’s even wished them the best, noting that she just wants to see her ex-husband happy.
“It’s only going to make him a better dad,” she told Entertainment Tonight in March. “And I’m in a good place and I hope they would like to see me happy so that I can be the best mother that I can possibly be as well.”
