Travis Kelce doesn’t want to watch Taylor Swift’s favorite Christmas movie, ‘Love Actually’
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reportedly plan on spending Christmas together. While they kept their Thanksgiving plans mum and led fans to believe they wouldn’t see each other, a source told Us Weekly that Swift plans on hosting Travis and his family for Christmas in 2024. Swift gets along very well with Travis’s family, including his mother, Donna Kelce, and would love to spend another holiday with them.
“They’re very intertwined,” another source told the publication. “[It feels] as if they’ve been a part of each other’s [lives] for years. It’s been seamless.”
While Swift and Travis are aiming for a laid-back holiday season and end of 2024, they won’t be watching Swift’s favorite Christmas movie, Love Actually. During a podcast episode of New Heights, Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, recommended the holiday film for the brothers’ Film Club series.
‘Yeah, don’t f***ing torture me; torture your husband,” Travis responded to the suggestion. “I’m an innocent bystander here, Ky. Don’t f***ing come for me.”
Swift opened up about her love for Love Actually in 2014. “Did you ever watch the movie Love Actually where Hugh Grant’s voiceover says, ‘If you look around, love actually is all around?’ That’s my favorite motto,” she told Teen Vogue, according to Us Weekly.
As for Travis’s favorite Christmas movie, he loves A Christmas Story. “I mean, A Christmas Story hits home,” he said on his podcast. “That’s the one that gives me the feels because it’s filmed in Cleveland.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spend their downtime like ‘typical couples,’ a source says
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might not watch Love Actually as part of their holiday downtime. However, they’ll likely watch other movies while relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.
“Despite their fame, Taylor and Travis are very chill and spend their downtime like a lot of typical couples,” a source told Page Six in November 2024. “They enjoy going out and grabbing dinner, cuddling on the couch, or just ordering delivery and watching movies. Sometimes, Taylor and Travis actually love staying in more than they enjoy going out.”
On an October episode of New Heights, Travis explained how his star-studded life with Swift still feels “like a dream,” especially when it comes to hanging out with other famous folks with his girlfriend.
“At this point, you can’t fathom what’s going on, so it’s like a dream,” Travis noted. “You’re not surprised by the next thing that comes into your life or the person who walks through the door.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fans want to see the couple get engaged. Unfortunately, fans need to have patience. Swift is finishing “The Eras Tour” in December 2024 and likely wants some time out of the headlines as she recoups her energy and rests. A source told Us Weekly that Swift and Travis “want to get through the holidays” before planning their “next moves.”
“They are both focused on their work now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year,” the source noted.
