Travis Kelce might be ready to get down on one knee for Taylor Swift. The couple hasn’t publicly discussed their future plans, but they’re not scared of flaunting their love. Kelce joined Swift on stage during “The Eras Tour,” and Swift showed her support for Kelce by flying to see the Kansas City Chiefs play. In August 2024, an insider said Kelce had been flying all over Europe to find the perfect engagement ring for when he proposed.
“It probably took more than 40 shop visits and 100 Zoom calls and meetings with jewelry experts” to find his ring, the insider told The Sun. So, where did Kelce go? The source claimed the NFL player traveled to New York, Los Angeles, France, Italy, and England before finding the perfect ring in Paris. Kelce allegedly viewed the journey as “worth” the wait.
“He finally found the ring he is sure she will love,” the source claimed. Kelce allegedly bought a ring worth $250,000 containing “the finest diamonds and pieces to build it.”
“He is ready to get engaged to her,” the insider noted. “He can’t wait.”

What kind of ring did Travis Kelce choose for Taylor Swift? While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end hasn’t said anything about a possible engagement ring, several jewelers and ring designers spoke to Brides about what Swift would want in a ring.
“I would picture Taylor wearing an antique, fancy-cut diamond (meaning not a round brilliant cut) because most antiques are truly one-of-a-kind in shape and brilliance,” New York-based custom engagement ring designer Susie Saltzman said. “I feel like her ring has to be timeless yet unique and all about the details.”
Ruben Luna, founder and creative director of Workshop Underground, suspects Swift will receive an “emerald step-cut diamond weighing around eight carats,” with the diamond “set in Art Deco-inspired claw prongs made of platinum” to go with her love of vintage. “And, of course, there would be a hidden inscription engraved inside of the band reading ‘TNT,'” Luna continued.
Akshie Jhaveri from Grown Brilliance suspects Swift would love “a large marquise-shaped diamond as her engagement ring with two beautifully cut baguette diamonds flanking it.” The marquise diamond has a football shape.
