Thieves targeted Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ houses in October 2024. In under 15 minutes, the criminals stole $100,000 in jewelry, $20,000 in cash, Kelce’s first Super Bowl jersey, and a watch from Kelce’s Kansas mansion. One of Kelce’s watches was recovered over 1,400 miles away in Rhode Island.

An insider told DailyMail.com that Kelce went “all out” with a new security system to ensure Swift’s safety during the holidays. The renovations included installing a “safety room” and an underground man cave. Kelce also hired skilled security personnel to surround the home 24/7.

“As the holidays approach, Travis has gone all out to make sure that the security system and security personnel at his home is invincible,” the source explained. “The best gift he could get both of them is safety and assurance that they will always have a good night’s sleep. He has installed a state-of-the-art security system with every single possible entry, including all windows, secured.”

The insider noted that the “burglary was a huge wakeup call” for Kelce and Swift. “And they will not spare any expense when it comes to their safety.”

“Things can change. A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the insider explained regarding Swift’s plans after “The Eras Tour.” “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”

Yet another source told the publication that the couple remain “focused on their work” at the end of 2024 “and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year.”
