But a source told Us Weekly that Kelce has no immediate plan to get down on one knee. “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” an insider shared. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”

The source added that while Kelce “cares very deeply” for Swift, he’s “just not there yet” regarding marriage.

In January 2024, another source said that Kelce and Swift don’t plan on getting engaged during the summer of 2024. “Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer,” the other source said. “Things between them are going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.”

“Bookies now offer odds on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s 2024 with one of the most famous couples in the world expected to have a massive year,” entertainment betting expert Jake Ashton said on OLBG.com. “The latest odds now say there’s a 75% chance that they continue to soar and announce their engagement at some point before the NFL season kicks off in September!”

If Swift and Kelce announce an engagement in early September, this will dispel the rumors that Kelce won’t get down on one knee during the summer of 2024. Fans will have to wait and see what the couple chooses.

There were rumors of a secret engagement on New Year’s Eve

Could Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift be secretly engaged? According to the Deux Moi podcast, Kelce and Swift had a secret engagement on New Year’s Eve before 2024. “Taylor and Travis got engaged 12/31,” the source said, according to Daily Mail. “They did it just the two of them alone before that party they were photographed at.”

However, the source added that Kelce and Swift felt it was “too soon to go public” with the engagement. So, they didn’t.

While rumors swirled about the secret engagement, this never happened. Rumors regarding a secret engagement between Swift and Alwyn were also present during their relationship, but these also proved false.
