Travis Kelce Has Been ‘Talking’ for ‘Months’ About Becoming an Ambassador for Resorts, Source Says

He’s allegedly looking to become an ambassador for resorts.

Before Travis Kelce met Taylor Swift, he played as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He continued his NFL career after meeting and falling in love with Swift. However, his newfound fame has opened up new doors. A source close to the NFL player told The Sun that Kelce “wants to invest in things that he loves,” which may include resorts.
“He has been talking for many months now that hotels and resorts are a target for him, and there have been talks with many groups in the recent weeks to have him get on board as a shareholder and even an ambassador for some groups that have hotels and resorts all over the world, like many beach places like the Bahamas, Thailand, some Greek Islands, and Barbados, for example,” the source added.
Kelce also allegedly talked to groups in Hawaii, the Caribbean, and the West Coast.
According to the insider, Kelce would receive around $2 million annually to become an ambassador “for one of the biggest international hotel and resort groups.” Ultimately, Kelce would then invest millions of dollars of his own money to join other investors who aim to open luxury resorts in Mexico and Hawaii.

Aside from the NFL, Travis Kelce doesn’t want just to become an investor. He has plans to enter the acting world. In 2024, he joined the cast of Ryan Murphy’s new series, Grotesquerie. Kelce will also host Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? on Amazon Prime Video.
“Travis is not messing around, and in the three months since the Super Bowl, he’s totally accelerated his Hollywood game plan and made multiple trips to town completely stealthily and sewn up a lot of support and opportunities in the process,” an insider told Life & Style.
Kelce’s methods are working even without the help of his famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift. “And it’s working in a major way because he’s actually closing deals, getting jobs, and getting a piece of the action,” the source continued.
He and Taylor Swift spare no expense on romantic getaways
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift know how to work hard — and they also know how to relax. The couple went on a romantic Bahamas getaway and stayed at Harbour Island’s Rosalita House in March 2024. Kelce reportedly adores the Caribbean, which explains why he may want to invest in hotels or resorts there.
When Kelce and Swift travel, they spare no expense. In May 2024, the couple stayed at the Villa Sola Cabiati in Italy’s Lake Como during Swift’s European travels with “The Eras Tour.” According to Page Six, the private villa contains six suites and can sleep up to 12 people. Amenities include a private pool, a butler, housekeepers, a chambermaid, and a private chef. Kelce and Swift paid $21,000 per night.
The couple reportedly loved Italy so much that they considered buying property. Additional sources said Kelce and Swift looked at homes near Lake Como ranging from $1.7 million to $7.5 million.
