While the Kansas City Chiefs never imagined he’d actually be dating one of the biggest pop sensations in the world, the two are madly in love. When they first met, Travis Kelce worked hard to get Taylor Swift’s attention. The Kansas City Chiefs hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during an “Eras Tour” concert. When the swap didn’t happen, Kelce told The Wall Street Journal that he had “somebody playing Cupid” who could get him in touch with Swift, and the rest is history.

As of September 2024, Kelce and Swift are going strong. Kelce traveled to see Swift perform during the European leg of “The Eras Tour” and participated with her on stage. Engagement rumors continue to swirl around the couple.

Unfortunately, not everyone is happy about Swift and Kelce’s romance. In March 2024, Kelce’s ex-girlfriends spoke to In Touch Weekly about Kelce’s “wild side.”

“He’s in love with Taylor, but there’s a side to him that she doesn’t know about,” an ex alleged.

According to an ex, Kelce continued to “like” photos of famous women, like Coco Jones and Dixie D’Amelio, on Instagram. He also allegedly tried to shoot his shot with Megan Thee Stallion.

“Travis reached out to Megan Thee Stallion to try his luck with her,” the insider claimed. Kelce and Megan Thee Stallion were allegedly spotted spending time together at the 2023 CMT Awards. “It seems like once he became more famous and well known, he was trying to hook up with bigger celebrities,” they continued.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have a much more public relationship than Swift’s romance with her ex, Joe Alwyn. However, Swift allegedly has rules that she wants Kelce to follow.

A source told Life & Style that Kelce “is fine not going to strip clubs anymore (that’s one of her hard rules), but Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines,” according to Yahoo. The insider noted that Kelce rolled his eyes at the rule.

The couple’s friends alleged that Swift also wants Kelce to FaceTime her when they’re away. “She didn’t overtly say it, but she secretly wants to see where he is and who he’s with,” the source added. “Taylor’s a good judge of character and fears that some of his buddies are red flags.”

Travis Kelce has been chummier than ever with celebrities now that he’s dating Taylor Swift. While he still plays football for the Kansas City Chiefs, how long he will play remains unclear. Kelce continues to take steps toward a permanent career in Hollywood.

“I’m definitely out here in the entertainment world dabbling around and becoming a professional in that career field,” Kelce told Entertainment Tonight in April 2024.

During that same interview, Kelce said he and Swift are “career-driven.”

“I think we both love what we do,” he said. “And, you know, any chance that I can, you know, show my support to her, and knowing that she’s shown me all the support in the world throughout the season, it’s just been an amazing experience getting to know Tay.”
