You can get an idea of what they look and sound like, and you can learn about their personal preferences and how they live their lives. At the same time, there are some things the average fan won’t get to know. Though you can read about a celebrity’s choice of fragrance and beauty products, you really can’t get to know what someone smells like without finding out for yourself. Nonetheless, those close to certain celebrities will get to know this, and sometimes they’ll tell fans. One major celebrity recently told fans about her famous musician ex’s scent, that being Travis Scott. So, what did Travis Scott smell like?
Travis Scott is a massively influential trap producer
If you listen to hip hop, particularly trap music, you probably know who Travis Scott is. Though Scott has been making music since 2008, Scott really entered the mainstream consciousness in 2015 with his debut album from a major label, Rodeo, which was certified platinum. Scott would continue to release popular singles for the next few years, though he really captured the public again with his 2018 album Astroworld. The second single off this album, “Sicko Mode,” featured Drake and was unique for its length and three-part structure.
Since then, Scott has continued to put out successful singles and albums in addition to business and fashion deals. As of 2021, he has plans to work with Dior on a summer 2022 men’s line of clothes, and in 2017 he formed his own label, Cactus Jack Records. On top of this, in 2018, he started his own music festival, Astrofest, which has featured several A-list music acts. Sadly, this festival was canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but it seems likely it will return when things are safe.
Kylie Jenner revealed her Travis Scott’s scent on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’
Back in 2019, Kylie Jenner and daughter Stormi appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were together at this time, though they would break up shortly after (though they quarantined together, so Stormi could be with both of her parents). She participated in the “Burning Questions” segment on the show, answering various questions — including one about what Scott smells like. According to Jenner from the show’s YouTube channel:
He takes a shower in the morning usually, so he smells like fresh shower and fresh cologne… ….Wait, he also smells like weed a lot.
Though some people are sensitive to the smell of weed, for others, this might not be such a bad combination! After all: who doesn’t like a man with a fresh scent?
Jenner has her own signature scent
Kim Kardashian West is another celebrity who’s dished on similar topics, and in an interview with The Cut, she discussed her sisters’ scents. Kendall Jenner, Kylie’s older sister, apparently has no particular scent. Kylie herself apparently likes Kim’s fragrances, “that have gardenias and jasmine.” Meanwhile, the other Kardashian sisters have their own preferences. Kourtney apparently opts for all-natural products, while Khloé is very distinct, with her sister saying, “[she] smells like rich oils; very fruity, but rich in scent. She also likes very white florals.” Her husband at the time of the interview, Kanye West, smelled “rich.”
Kim hasn’t said much about herself, or the Jenner matriarch, though given that both are incredibly wealthy and known for glamour and fashion, the two probably smell like the expensive fragrances and beauty products they frequently promote, or maybe something even more exclusive!
