Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly Were ‘Making Plans for a Future Together’ Before Their Reported Split
In case you haven’t heard, Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly are history. After dating for about a year, the couple has reportedly called it quits, making them the latest celebrity pairing whose relationship has been claimed by 2021.
Though celebrity romances come and go, Noah and Kelly’s split is completely unexpected, especially since the two were planning out their future together just a few months before going their separate ways.

In August 2020, media outlets reported that Noah and Kelly were dating.
According to E! News, the pair had been seeing each other for “several months” and were “getting serious.” Kelly had even moved into The Daily Show host‘s New York City apartment.
Since Noah and Kelly are very private when it comes to their personal lives, the coronavirus pandemic helped them keep their romance under wraps.
For the first few months of their relationship, the pair sought solace in his Manhattan apartment, where he’s been filming his Comedy Central show.

After spending a few months in NYC together, sources confirmed that Noah and Kelly had moved into a $27.5 million mansion he purchased in Los Angeles in December 2020.
At the time, insiders reported that the two were “really happy and in love.”
“They’re making plans for a future together, and it’s a very stable relationship,” the source told People in January 2021. “They’ve been spending time between coasts over the last year and had been looking for a place in L.A. as a couple.”
Before her relationship with Noah, The Roommate actor dated Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams amid his divorce battle with ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee. The two were together for a little over a year before calling it quits in early 2018.
As for Noah, he was previously linked to girlfriend Jordyn Taylor, whom he dated for four years. However, in January 2019, Taylor confirmed that they had gone their separate ways but noted that there was still love between them.
“Of course I love him. How could you not love him?” she wrote in an Instagram Q&A. “I love him so much but you guys should know we broke up this past summer but yeah I love him.”

After a year of dating, Noah and Kelly have officially called it quits.
Insiders confirmed the pair’s breakup on May 16, noting that the couple hasn’t been spotted out together since they were photographed grabbing In-N-Out Burger in LA back in February.
According to People, Noah was seen without Kelly at a party in Miami with DJ Steve Aoki during the weekend of May 14.
Meanwhile, Kelly recently enjoyed a vacation in Mexico with friends, which she documented on Instagram. “When it feels good to feel good,” she captioned a snapshot of her wearing a bikini and smiling below a palm tree.
As of this writing, it’s unclear why the couple called it quits and when their split actually occurred.
So far, neither celebrity has commented publicly about their breakup. But seeing as both have remained mum about their relationship since it began, it’s likely this could be the first and last time we hear anything about their split.
