Trina and Tamar Braxton Say They Would Never Fight The Way Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West Did
The explosive fight between Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West is still a hot topic. Fans of the show have been split over which Kardashian sister is more at fault for the fight – but Trina and Tamar Braxton say they are disappointed in both Kim and Kourtney.
No stranger to their own family feuds, the Braxton sisters revealed in an Instagram live that a verbal dispute turning physical between them is inconceivable. The Braxtons and the Kardashians both have huge families with different personalities but the Braxtons insist their arguments would never lead to a fight.
Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian’s fight
The tension between Kourtney and Kim came to a head during the season 18 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kourtney expressed to her family for the past few years that she was not interested in being as involved in the show and filming so much of her life. The eldest Kardashian sister was often viewed by her siblings as difficult to work with as she grew more unhappy with filming.
During the season premiere, Kim made a comment that Kourtney doesn’t like to work, which Kourtney said was untrue and unfair. Kourtney felt judged by Kim for continuing to talk about her desire to take time off from the show and the two proceeded to argue.
Things turned physical when Kourtney began to tussle with Kim, leaving scratches on her sister. The two then began slapping one another as Khloé and Kendall tried to mediate. Both Kourtney and Kim were in tears after the fight as the rest of the cast and crew stood by in shock.
Kourtney later apologized to Kim, admitting that she’d reached her breaking point with the show and took her anger out in a nonproductive way. By the end of the episode, Kourtney announced that her appearances on the show would be minimal and she’d only film when it pertained to her business ventures.
Trina and Tamar Braxton say they were shocked and disappointed at Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian’s fight in an Instagram live video
KUWTK viewers weren’t the only people stunned by Kourtney and Kim’s slap war. Trina and Tamar Braxton took to Instagram live for a sister chat. The two talked about how shocking it was to witness the Kardashian sisters get physical.
“It was a lot for me. It was stressful for me,” Tamar admitted. “I’m not making it about me but it made me sad. It was heavy. I could never.”
Furthermore, the Braxton sisters said that no matter how heated their verbal spats get, they could never picture hitting one another.
“There’s nothing that you all have done—and y’all work on my nerves real bad and I want to shake y’all real bad sometimes,” Trina explained. “But nothing makes me want to put my hands on you. That’s coo coo for Cocoa Puffs.”
Tamar agreed, saying that an act as such is seemingly unforgivable and would be hard for them to move past. She also made an observation that she felt the Kardashians fought as if they were “enemies.”
Tamar said that after watching the clip, she was “sad” for the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner. Knowing how close the Kardashian family is, Tamar said that from watching the show over the years, she knows that Jenner did not raise her family to fight one another.
