’90 Day Fiancé’: Babygirl Lisa Hamme Confirms That She and Usman Umar Split in Shady Instagram Post
It’s been a wild ride with Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. It seemed like every episode of the show saw the two on the verge of a breakup. Though on the finale, viewers got to see Umar and Hamme’s wedding, it appears that the two are no longer happily in love. Hamme recently went on an Instagram Live rant and revealed that she and Umar are no longer together.
Lisa and Usman’s relationship
Hamme and Umar didn’t meet in the most natural way. They were connected by a friend and first met online.
“We met online,” Hamme said in an interview with Without a Crystal Ball. “We met through a mutual friend out of the UK. I knew her, she knew him, and he was looking for a female companion. And I just knew her reputation, I’m like, uh, I don’t know about this…but send him through my filtered messaging, and I’ll see what it’s about.”
When Hamme first met Umar, she was worried that he was trying to scam her, but she put those concerns on the backburner as she began to fall in love with him.
“I was 49 and Usman was 29 when we first met,” she continued. “And when we first met, I’ll be honest with you…I honestly thought, oh, great, another yahoo boy out of Nigeria that’s going to harass me to no end. And I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I don’t like that stigma.”
Throughout this season of the show, Umar and Hamme’s relationship was extremely rocky. Hamme was constantly jealous of the women who showed Umar attention. Though they argued during Hamme’s entire stay in Nigeria, the two still decided to get married.
Lisa and Umar claimed to be happy together
While the show was airing, a lot of things came out about Umar and Hamme. Hamme was recently accused of calling Umar the N-word. She admitted to doing it but claimed that she and Umar were able to move past that.
“It is said if you sin and you apologize and you pray for forgiveness, it is forgiven,” she said on Instagram Live. “So, my husband and I, it is a private manner between him and I. Because they are not going to drop it and it’s sad. Because the world needs to be united. We are human beings.”
And Umar recently confirmed that they were on good terms as well.
“You see her, we have resolved everything,” he said in a video. “Everything is OK now. Not going to have any problems anymore.”
The breakup
Now, Hamme is singing a different song. She recently revealed in an Instagram Live that she and Umar were done.
“He used me,” she said. “He married me just to be on a TV show that people would recognize his name to sell his music. I tried to work with him, his brothers tried to work with him. He thinks it’s just him, he thinks he’s going to do what he wants and he’s never going to apologize for anything he’s ever said bad about me. He’s posing as what you call a romance scam, which is very illegal in Nigeria. It puts that stigma back onto Nigeria again and that’s what I didn’t want to do.”
Umar denied these claims.
“SojaBoy is not a scammer and I’m very sure [he] is living [a] better life [than] Lisa,” a source told In Touch.
