‘Twisters’ Star Daisy Edgar-Jones Turned Heads With 4 Stunning Outfits in 1 Day
This summer, Twisters star Daisy Edgar-Jones has turned out a number of eye-catching outfits as she promotes the new film. While in New York City for an appearance on The View with co-star Glen Powell, Edgar-Jones upped her fashion game with four stylish looks in one day. She worked with stylist Dani Mitchell to cement her place as one of the best-dressed actors today.
Edgar-Jones left her hotel in Midtown, Manhattan in a white, strapless top with a matching white midi skirt. She topped off the all-white look with a small handbag and strappy square-toe heels. She kept her accessories simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings and black sunglasses.
Later that day, Edgar-Jones arrived at a taping of The View wearing a sand-colored mini dress with a structured, heart-shaped neckline. She wore a pair of matching heels, gold earrings, and the same pair of sunglasses from that morning as she greeted fans. Edgar-Jones wore her long brown hair in loose waves.
Edgar-Jones also donned a sheer blue two-piece from the Chloé Fall 2024 runway. The eye-catching look included a flowy long-sleeve blouse and a ruffled mini skirt over see-through pants. She paired this with thigh-high tan boots.
Unlike her other two looks, Edgar-Jones opted for a dramatic gold statement necklace and chunky gold earrings. All through the day, she kept her makeup simple and natural.
In her final look of the day, the Normal People star opted for a cropped black sweater and high waisted, wide-legged tan trousers. She styled the look with a black belt, black heels, and a brown handbag. Though she had worn her long hair down throughout the day, she pulled it back into a sleek low bun for this look.
Edgar-Jones turned out this impressive collection of looks as she prepared for the premiere of Twisters. The film, which is a follow-up to 1996’s Twister, stars Edgar-Jones, Powell, and Anthony Ramos. According to Powell, Edgar-Jones brought her strong sense of style to the set only once.
“What made me laugh was Daisy came in this very chic outfit with a scarf and all these different things,” he told People. “Cut to — that was the last time I saw Daisy dressed up. We wore sweatpants for the rest of the shoot … First date, just came out of the gate, full style. I was like, ‘Wow. She just dresses so chic’ … You really came out of the gate strong.”
Edgar-Jones said that for the rest of the shoot, she preferred to wear the same sweatsuit.
“I remember every time I came to set you were like, ‘The same jumper?’ I just wore this one gray sweatsuit,” she said. “I was like, ‘I’m so tired.’”
Twisters hits theaters on July 19.
