TXT Gave Fans a Preview of Their EP ‘minisode1 : Blue Hour’
Tomorrow X Together’s new EP minisode1 : Blue Hour comes out on Oct. 26. Leading up to the EP, TXT released a special preview for MOAs on Big Hit Entertainment’s social media channels and YouTube. The preview video gives fans more information about the songs on the K-pop group’s upcoming EP along with visuals from the band’s concept photos.
TXT released concept photos for ‘minisode1 : Blue Hour’
Over the past few weeks, TXT released concept photos and teaser trailers for minisode1 : Blue Hour. The first set of photos, known as the “R” version, was released on Sept. 28 and showcased a virtual theme. On Oct. 5, Big Hit Entertainment released the “VR” teaser photos which once again hinted at a virtual concept.
Big Hit Entertainment released the last set of concept photos on Oct. 7, known as the “AR” version concept photos. The group photo showed Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai social distancing outside in the grass while their individual photos showed them isolating inside.
“The ‘AR’ version concept photos portray the members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER in separate rooms, posing in front of posters and props that depict various locations at sunset: school, the ocean, or a theme park. The photos represent the gap between their isolation at home and the places they would rather be,” reads a press release.
The group released teaser trailers for the ‘Blue Hour’ music video
minisode1 : Blue Hour has five tracks: “Ghosting,” “5시 53분의 하늘에서 발견한 너와 나 (Blue Hour),” “날씨를 잃어버렸어 (We Lost The Summer),” “Wishlist,” and “하굣길 (Way Home).” “Blue Hour” is the EP’s lead single, and a music video for the song will also be released on Oct. 26.
On Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. ET, Big Hit Entertainment released the first teaser trailer for the “Blue Hour” music video. The teaser featured a slowed-down arrangement of the song. A second teaser for the music video featuring the upbeat disco sound from the original track was released on Oct. 20.
At the start of the second teaser, Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai sat in a tree and smiled at the camera. In the next scene, the members joyously sprinted through an open field wearing white. To close out the music video teaser, the quintet performed a portion of the song with the choreography in front of an illuminated merry-go-round.

On Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. ET, TXT released a special preview of minisode1 : Blue Hour. The video shows various clips referencing the EP’s concept photos and teaser trailers while giving more information about the songs on the EP. For each song description, a brief snippet of the track plays, giving MOAs a sneak peek of what to expect when the album is available.
The EP will tell the story of teenagers experiencing friendship in the midst of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the track “We Lost The Summer” will focus on how teenagers’ daily lives changed. TXT’s preview of minisode1 : Blue Hour revealed that English singer-songwriter Charli XCX made creative contributions to the song.
The members of TXT began taking part in the songwriting process with their EP The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY. TXT continue to expand on their artistry with minisode1 : Blue Hour. Soobin contributed to the songwriting of “Ghosting,” Yeonjun and Huening Kai worked together on “Wishlist,” and Taehyun worked on both songs.
