TXT Release Promotion Schedule for Their New Album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE’
Tomorrow X Together began their The Chaos Chapter era with The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE. The K-pop group dropped the album on May 31, and it debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. On Aug. 17, Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai of TXT will release a repackage album of The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE called The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE.
TXT’s upcoming release is a repackage album
The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE has eight tracks: “Anti-Romantic,” “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori,” “Magic,” “소악행” (“Ice Cream”), “밸런스 게임” (“What if I had been that PUMA”), “No Rules,” “디어 스푸트니크” (“Dear Sputnik”), and “Frost.”
The album’s lead single is “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori,” and “Magic” is TXT’s first English-language song.
According to a press release, “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE is a repackage of the band’s latest album released in May, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, which depicted teenagers who have frozen as a response to the onslaught of the world. With catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, the album reflected the universal sentiments of Generation Z in today’s world.”

On July 20, Big Hit Music published a promotion schedule for TXT’s upcoming repackage album on social media. The calendar gives fans an idea of what kinds of teasers to expect in the weeks leading up to the release of The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE.
On July 23, there will be a hashtag event with the hashtag #LOOKBACK_MOA. The first concept photos for The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE will be released on Aug. 2, and the images will be the “FIGHT” version. A “FIGHT” version concept clip will drop the next day on Aug. 3.
On Aug. 5, Big Hit Music will release the “ESCAPE” version concept photos, and the “ESCAPE” version concept clip will be shared online on Aug. 6. The tracklist for The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE will be released on Aug. 7.
TXT fans will be given an album preview on Aug. 11, and a music video teaser for the repackage album’s lead single will drop on Aug. 15. A second music video teaser will be released on Aug. 16.
TXT participated in the creation of ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’
Being a repackage album of The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE will include the same songs along with a few additional tracks. On The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai helped with songwriting and producing.
Soobin participated in the songwriting of “Ice Cream,” and Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Taehyun are each co-writers on “What if I had been that PUMA.” Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai co-wrote the track “No Rules.”
Taehyun and Huening Kai are co-writers of “Dear Sputnik,” and Huening Kai also helped produce the song. Yeonjun co-wrote the last song on the album’s tracklist, “Frost.”
