Tyler Cameron Admits to Making a Mistake on Night 1 of ‘The Bachelorette’ That Set Him Behind
Hannah Brown ended up picking someone other than Tyler Cameron for her final rose. He has reflected on his time on The Bachelorette and shared his one regret. There is a mistake he made on the first night that set him behind.
Hannah Brown gave her first rose to Luke Parker on ‘The Bachelorette’
Brown’s season started with some drama. A man named Scott Anderson was put on blast for going on the show while having a girlfriend at home. But she still managed to make connections with some of the other men.
Luke Parker made sure to comfort her after the night’s drama. So it’s not surprising that she gave him the first impression rose. This set the tone for most of the season because Parker was obviously her favorite.
She had a hard time letting go but she eventually sent him home after he was confrontational about Fantasy Suites. Cameron was a fan-favorite and was one of the last two men standing that season.
Season 15 ended with Brown picking Jed Wyatt over Cameron. But Brown quickly dumped Wyatt for not being honest about not ending a relationship.
Brown told Jimmy Kimmel she still doesn’t regret picking Wyatt. “I became a lot stronger of a woman throughout all I went through, so I don’t want to say I regret it. But [Tyler] is pretty great,” she explained. Fans wondered if she would continue with a relationship with Cameron instead.
Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown are just friends
Brown and Cameron reconnected in Florida and stayed in quarantine with his friends for a few weeks in March. One of them was Matt James, who will be the next star of The Bachelor. There were rumors Cameron and Brown were dating, but they recently addressed that in a YouTube video.
“People think we were hooking up the whole time,” Brown said in the video. “Eighteen days in the same bed. Never kissed,” Cameron claimed.
They also claimed their time together also got awkward. “I’m sure there were days we didn’t talk to each other,” Brown revealed. She eventually left the situation and they managed to talk things out. Now Brown and Cameron are continuing their friendship.
He didn’t talk to her on night 1
The reality star was close to winning over Brown. But that was after he had to catch up to the other men because he made a mistake on the first night.
“The only regret I have was not speaking to her on night one. That’s my biggest regret, because that put me behind the eight ball,” Cameron said on Bachelor Confessions. “My relationship started slower than everyone else’s. I think that could’ve definitely helped speed things up, get things rolling.”
That explains why Brown had a stronger connection with Parker and Wyatt. Sadly, Cameron doesn’t plan on returning to the franchise but he at least learned a lesson from it.
