Tyler Cameron Is Single but Revealed He Is Not Ready to Date
While fans of The Bachelorette have speculated that Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown are together, the two have made it clear they are both single. Brown recently revealed that she feels ready to begin dating. However, Cameron does not feel ready to date again, and it’s due to a deeply personal reason.
Tyler Cameron is putting his family first
Recently, on an episode of E!’s The Rundown, Erin Lim interviewed Cameron.
Lim asked Cameron if he was dating anyone and Cameron responded, “I am dating nobody right now.”
“Do you want to date someone?” Lim asked.
“Yeah, I think right now I had a lot going on in my life,” Cameron said. “I’ve had a lot going on in my life lately. You know, my mom passed you know, and we have this whole quarantine going on, so who the heck can date right now?”
He continued, “My main goal right now is focusing on my little brothers, taking care of them, kinda getting them where they need to be. I know I’ll be able to get through all this, but my youngest brother… He’s 20-years-old. He’s a baby. So to be there for him, and to kinda get him where he needs to be is kind of what’s… you know the silver lining of all this quarantining and the coronavirus is like I’ve gotten to be able to just be here for two months post mom’s passing. So that’s, you know, it’s been a blessing.”
Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown are just friends
Fans started speculating that Brown and Cameron were dating after Brown spent a few weeks in Florida quarantining with Cameron and his friends due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. However, Cameron has been adamant that the two are just friends, and in a video posted on a Bachelor Nation fan account’s Instagram story, he set the record straight.
“We’re friends..it’s been nice to be able to communicate and be friends again. We are able to talk, and you know, we’re just starting off as friends and that’s what it is right now,” Cameron said. “And we’re not in a place where we should be worried about dating or anything like that right now…but yeah, that’s my homie she’s my friend… But it’s good to be back on good terms. She’s a great person and I’m grateful to be able to call her a friend.”
Hannah Brown is currently single
On May 5, Brown held an Instagram Live and revealed that she feels ready to “test the waters” with dating.
“I am single, I am,” she said. “I feel like right now in quarantine’s not the best time to try to date, but I feel like I am in a place where I’m ready to do that—to test the waters a little bit.”
Brown also clarified that while she is ready to start dating again, she likely won’t date anyone from Bachelor Nation.
“I can date other people that are not on The Bachelor. Y’all are driving me crazy!” She told fans during the Instagram Live.
