‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 3: This Episode Title Has Fans Concerned for Klaus Hargreeves
The Umbrella Academy fans are slowly starting to learn more about what season 3 has in store for their favorite dysfunctional superhero family. Showrunner Steve Blackman revealed the episode titles for The Umbrella Academy Season 3 during Netflix’s Geeked Week, and now all many fans can do is speculate what’s to come — especially for Klaus Hargreeves (Robert Sheehan).

‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 3 has an episode titled ‘Auf Wiedersehen’
Like the first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy, season 3 will be 10 episodes. At this time, the release date for season 3 is unknown. However, filming and production started in February 2021. In theory, this means the new season of The Umbrella Academy will likely drop near the end of 2021 or early in 2022.
While many fans were excited when the episode titles were announced, others couldn’t help but worry for Klaus. Episode 307 is titled “Auf Wiedersehen,” which translates to “Goodbye” in German.
Klaus Hargreeves could be the focus in the ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ episode of season 3
Given Klaus’ Germanic origins, many TUA fans presume this episode will have something to do with him. As “The Seance,” Klaus has “Goodbye” tattooed on the palm of his hand. But many fans think the episode title means more than that.
As for what the episode is really about, fans will have to wait and see. But right now, fans are assuming the worst.
“Klaus centric, pain and suffering,” one fan account on Twitter speculates. “Germany. Closure.”
“‘Auf Wiedersehen’ doesn’t sound too good,” says another fan on Reddit. “I have two theories. 1: Klaus dies and these are his last words (I don’t really believe it, but I can’t be sure either). 2: Klaus manages to say auf wiedersehen (goodbye) to old Dave (Cody Ray Thompson).”
Another fan agrees and thinks the “Auf Wiedersehen” episode could mean a significant goodbye for Klaus. Though in their opinion, he might be saying goodbye to Ben (Justin H. Min).
‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 3 will involve a ‘very big reveal’
The Umbrella Academy is based on graphic novels of the same name by My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way and his co-creator Gabriel Bá. Way discussed volume four of the series with Forbes, aptly titled “Sparrow Academy” — the new group of super-siblings introduced at the end of The Umbrella Academy Season 2.
“[‘Sparrow Academy’] deals with a very big reveal in The Umbrella Academy universe,” Way told the outlet. “Something that had been secret for a long time.”
“Our siblings learn a lot about what was happening behind the scenes, as well as discovering the true nature of some characters that have been with them since the beginning,” the creator continued. “The series finally starts to answer the question: ‘What about the other babies born on that day, in that moment?'”
