Who doesn’t love some good Christmas movies? In a press release announcement, Scripps has announced a whole new slate of holiday films on ION & Bounce. These films, which are sure to be new Christmas classics, feature stars from shows like All My Children and Power. And we’ve got the full lineup, which is sure to bring some much-needed holiday cheer.

The first of the new Christmas movies, ‘Who is Christmas Eve?’ will premiere on Nov. 21

The first of the new Christmas movies will premiere on Nov. 21 at 8:00 p.m. on Bounce. Check your local listings for the channel. The film is called Who is Christmas Eve? and stars Paige Audrey-Marie Hurd. Hurd is best known for her roles in Power: Book II and Hawaii Five-0.

Hurd plays Eve Simons. She was abandoned as an infant on the steps of a church 30 years ago on Christmas Eve. In the film, she embarks on a search to uncover the mystery of her birth. And she’ll enlist the help of her boyfriend Chris (Romeo Miller, Romeo!, Empire) and famed investigative genealogist Pamela Slaton (Juliana Harkavy, Arrow).

The movie is inspired by Slaton’s work, and she serves as an executive producer. Also, Hurd serves as a co-executive producer.

‘Christmas Down Under’

Next up on the Scripps Christmas movies slate is Christmas Down Under. This film will premiere on ION on Nov. 21 at 8pm. Check your local listings for the channel.

After a fight with her husband (Paul O’Brien, Home & Away, Neighbors), a tightly wound wife (Justine Kacir, Home & Away) follows him to his hometown of Sydney, Australia, in hopes of saving their marriage. Tracking him down proves complicated. So, she must rely on an Aboriginal tour guide and a social media influencer ride-share driver to help, all just days before Christmas.

‘A Christmas Witness’

A Christmas Witness is another one of those can’t-miss Christmas movies. The film will premiere on ION on Nov. 28 at 8:00 p.m. And as always, check your local listings for the appropriate channel.

A no-nonsense federal marshal (Arielle Kebbel, Ballers, The Vampire Diaries) is tasked with protecting a low-level, charming mobster (Colin Egglesfield, Rizzoli & Isles, All My Children) until he testifies against his mafia boss two days after Christmas.

‘A New Lease on Christmas’

Next up on the can’t-miss Christmas movies list is A New Lease on Christmas. This film will premiere on ION on Dec. 11 at 8:00 p.m. And, yes, you need to check your local listings for the channel.

A single real estate agent (Clair Coffee, Grimm, Lincoln Rhymes – Hunt for the Bone Collector) falls for a handsome coffee shop owner (George Stults, 7th Heaven) – only to discover that the job she just took requires her to evict him from his shop.

‘The Christmas Thief’ is the last of the can’t-miss Christmas movies

Finally, ION’s list of can’t-miss Christmas movies wraps up with The Christmas Thief. This final film on the slate will premiere on Dec. 12 at 8:00 p.m.
