‘Vanderpump Rules’: Brock Davies Drags Lala Kent – ‘Turns out She Can’t Afford to Take Care of Her Fiancé’
Brock Davies from Vanderpump Rules got a little shady toward Lala Kent when she said he tried to shirk or pawn off his wedding expenses on her.
During the latest episode, Davies planned a surprise wedding to Scheana Shay and enlisted Randall Emmett’s help in pulling it off. Kent later told Tom Sandoval that when it came time to pay vendors, Davies went “radio silent.” So did he expect her and Emmett to pick up the tab? “Anything that has to do with payment, Brock drops the ball,” Kent said in a confessional.

Davies slammed Kent’s remarks during a recent interview. “My biggest pet peeve and we’ve got to speak about it some more so you can come listen to the deep of it,” he said on the Tap In w/ Harry Jowsey podcast.
“It’s just like there’s a spin on the storylines that come out and it’s like we said before like it’s one version or the other, but it’s like, look real quickly, I’m not going to pay for my photoshoot or my wedding. Sorry, from my business account,” he continued. Shay added, “It was your engagement, not the wedding.”
“So my engagement slash wedding was going to cost me a fair amount,” Davies added. “It got canceled because of COVID restrictions. We couldn’t get to the venue on the time and then they spun it. And it’s coming out this week it was spun out as if I couldn’t afford to do any of this.”

Shay and Davies said Kent implied that Davies spent money on his brand but not his wedding. Kent was saying, “I spent so much money on like my Homebody brand a photoshoot and all this s***,” he said. “But I can’t afford to take care of my wife? Which fast forward six months to today that she can’t afford to take care of her husband or fiancé.”
The shade was especially biting as Kent has made several emotional comments about the dissolution of her engagement to Emmett. She found out he cheated on her and left Emmett in October.
“I hear her cookie wasn’t the cookie to eat,” he added. Shay joked, “Thank you so much for listening …”

But Davies continued. “It is what it is, you know, she said some stuff and I’m not OK with it, you know?” he said. “Do you take money from your business for your personal life? Never happens, so don’t assume that I’m going to take money to afford a nice lifestyle for you from my business’s money because I’ll never do that. Yeah, yeah. And that’s where we’re at. Like, That’s the best tea you got coming for you.”
Previews for the upcoming Vanderpump Rules episode teased that the couple still gets married but in a much smaller ceremony. “When we do go to James and Raquel’s place up north, what I’d like to do you’re gonna marry me and Scheana,” Davies is heard telling Sandoval and Ariana Madix by phone. “It’ll just be the four of us. It’s gonna be secret.”
So did Davies and Shay actually marry but haven’t shared the news?
