‘Vanderpump Rules’: Who Is James Kennedy’s New Girlfriend, Ally Lewber?
Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy has a new girlfriend, Ally Lewber, just a few months after he ended his engagement to co-star Raquel Leviss. Here’s what we know so far about the Bravo star’s new girlfriend.
1. James Kennedy went public with his relationship with Ally Lewber in March 2022
James Kennedy and his girlfriend of several years, Raquel Leviss, got engaged on a season 9 episode of Vanderpump Rules. But by the time the season reunion filmed, the couple had decided to go separate ways.
The reunion episodes were filmed in December 2021, and the first part, including the news of Leviss and Kennedy’s breakup, aired in January 2022. The famous DJ started sharing photos of his new girlfriend, Ally Lewber, on his Instagram page in March.
But Kennedy started dating Lewber before then. In January, he posted several Instagram Stories of his 30th birthday celebration, and a “mystery brunette” (later determined to be Lewber) appeared in several of the clips and photos.
Kennedy posted the first photo of his new girlfriend on his page on Mar. 15, and he tagged her account in a photo for the first time on Apr. 22.
2. Ally Lewber was a ‘Vanderpump Rules’ fan before dating James Kennedy
On a Feb. 9 episode of Give Them Lala podcast titled, “DJ James Kennedy,” Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent asked James Kennedy some questions about his new girlfriend.
When asked where he met Ally Lewber, Kennedy answered, “At a show, at Tom Sandoval’s Most Extra show where I DJed. I DJ’d after the band.”
Kent asked if Lewber was a fan of the Bravo show. “Well, look, she was with her friends,” Kennedy responded. “They were fans, they were in the business.”
He added, “Well, who isn’t a fan of Vanderpump Rules? The sexiest f***ing show!” Kennedy continued to say that he has no problem with dating a fan. “I don’t see the obsession with don’t date a fan.”
And when asked if he would bring Lewber onto the show if it got renewed for season 10, Kennedy said, “It’s still too early to say.”
He continued, “I do like this girl, but I mean, I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. I can’t ask any girl to do that.” Kennedy added that he didn’t “want to make the same mistakes” that he made in his relationship with Raquel Leviss.
3. James Kennedy’s new girlfriend is 26 years old
Ally Lewber was born on Jan. 13, 1996 (according to TVGuideTime), making her 26 years old and a Capricorn.
She is four years younger than her famous boyfriend. DJ James Kennedy was born on Jan. 26, 1992, making him 30 years old and an Aquarius.
4. Ally Lewber works in the entertainment industry
According to Ally Lewber’s LinkedIn profile, she has been working in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles for years.
She got her Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Industry Studies with a minor in Entertainment Journalism from Belmont University, a private Christian college in Nashville, Tennessee. Lewber also completed courses in Weather Forecasting at Penn State University.
Lewber has previously worked as a production assistant for 20th Century Fox, a staff writer for The Hollywood Gossip, and an on-air host for Afterbuzz TV.
5. James Kennedy’s new girlfriend has already been on a reality TV show
Although James Kennedy’s new girlfriend hasn’t appeared on Vanderpump Rules yet, Ally Lewber is no stranger to reality TV. When she was 18 years old, she appeared in a reality series in Dayton, Ohio called The Valley. The show followed Lewber and five other high school graduates as they prepared to go to college.
