‘Vanderpump Rules’: Lala Kent Turns 31, Celebrates by Releasing New Makeup
Fans of the popular Bravo TV show Vanderpump Rules have followed the cast members’ lives since the show first aired in 2013.
Lala Kent joined the show in 2015 during season 4. She has since released an autobiography and started a makeup and skincare business. Kent recently celebrated a birthday and dropped a new piece of her makeup line to celebrate.

Lala Kent from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ celebrated her birthday on September 2
Lala Kent was born on September 2, 1990, making this her 31st birthday. The reality star and beauty entrepreneur has had a lot of changes in the last year.
Most notably, Kent gave birth to her daughter Ocean on March 15, 2021.
“A week ago, March 15th 2021, at 6:45AM, my life changed forever,” Kent captioned a photo of her newborn’s face on Instagram. “This little 5 lb 10 oz, sign of Pisces sent me into a world I can only explain as heavenly. No one could have prepared me for this kind of love. Ocean, you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I am so honored to be your mama- my heart could just burst 🤍.”
Although Kent is the stepmother of her partner Randall Emmett’s two daughters (whose mother is You and Ray Donovan actor Ambyr Childers), this marks her first birthday as a mother to her biological child with Emmett.
Shortly after giving birth, Kent returned to filming Vanderpump Rules after the show’s hiatus during the pandemic. However, this season of filming was unlike any other for Kent, who was still reeling over the loss of her fired castmates.
Last year, Bravo fired the series’ original cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute (their respective partners will also no longer appear on the show). Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also left the show around the same time.
In an Instagram Q&A (per US Weekly), a fan asked Kent what it was like filming without some of her friends. Kent revealed, “It’s so weird. I miss them all very much.”
Lala Kent released a new makeup line in honor of her birthday
A few days before her birthday, Kent teased the release of a new makeup palette for her beauty line, Give Them Lala Beauty.
The reality star posted a photo of herself from a birthday-themed shoot with the caption, “I can’t wait to share with ya’ll the palette I’ve been working on to celebrate my birthday! The Birthday Palette is ready for you on September 2nd 🎉🎨🤍”
On her birthday, she posted another photo from the same shoot and captioned it, “It’s my f👑cking birthday!!! I’m bringing in 31 with my Birthday Palette! It’s ready for you now at GiveThemLala.com.”
The Birthday Palette features eye shadow colors with names like “1990,” “Virgo Baby,” and “Eat Cake.”
‘Vanderpump Rules’ will return to TV screens later this month
On the same day as Lala Kent’s birthday post, the rest of the cast revealed the premiere date of Vanderpump Rules season 9.
Cast member James Kennedy posted a photo of himself with the caption, “Season 9 Vanderpump Rules returns to @bravotv September 28th at 9pm ET. That’s this month people🤯 who’s ready?”
Another series regular, Ariana Madix, posted an image of herself and captioned it, “Get your cocktail ready because we are SUR-ving the new season of #PumpRules September 28th! 🍸Swipe up in my story for the full trailer!”
Fans of the show will be able to watch Kent’s and the rest of the cast’s antics on screen again at the end of the month.
