Lala Kent is a mom now. She and her fiancé Randall Emmett welcomed their daughter, Ocean, to the world on Mar. 15. As several members and former members of the Vanderpump Rules family have been pregnant and giving birth recently, there have been different approaches amongst the cast as to how much to share of their pregnancy journeys and babies. Kent waited a week before sharing the first glimpse of her little girl with the world.

Lala Kent’s baby photo

On Monday, Kent took to Instagram to share the first photos of her new baby.

“A week ago, March 15th 2021, at 6:45AM, my life changed forever,” Kent wrote. “This little 5 lb 10 oz, sign of Pisces sent me into a world I can only explain as heavenly. No one could have prepared me for this kind of love. Ocean, you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I am so honored to be your mama- my heart could just burst.”

Kent’s costars and other celebrities were quick to comment on the news. Katie Maloney-Schwartz left a number of heart-eyed emojis under the photo. “So cute,” Jax Taylor wrote.

Even Kent’s former friend turned enemy, James Kennedy, commented on the baby. “Beautiful, congratulations!” he wrote.

Will Lala Kent return to ‘Vanderpump Rules’?

A lot has changed since last season of Vanderpump Rules. Stassi Schroeder, Kristin Doute, Brett Caprioni, and Max Boyens were all let go from the show due to racial incidents in their pasts. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were also released from the show.

Now that Kent is a mom, she doesn’t know if she will return to Vanderpump Rules.

“I need to see what next season would entail,” she told Entertainment Tonight while pregnant. “I need to make sure that’s a healthy space for me. I don’t get to think just about what’s good for Lala and how she would react to certain things, you know? I’m going to be a mother. … I have my own child looking up to me, so it would have to be the right situation. It’s a different zone now. Brittany and I are becoming moms, I just don’t see me walking into SUR clapping back at Danica [Dow] for serving me the wrong meal, you know? A lot is going to change.”

If she does decide to do another season, viewers will probably see a different side of Kent.

“I don’t want her to have a mom that’s popping off left and right,” she said. “There’s a lot of things that are going to change. Now, I’m not saying I won’t clap back, because that’s just in my DNA but, yeah, I think I’m going to be much more delicate. I hope.”

Are Lala and Randall married?

After getting engaged in 2018, Kent and Emmett had planned on getting married in 2020. Their August wedding had to be rescheduled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. They have yet to tie the knot.
