‘Vanderpump Rules’: Scheana Shay Says She’ll Never Be Friends With 2 of Her Costars Again
Vanderpump Rules may not be currently filming but that doesn’t mean that the drama has slowed down. Scheana Shay has recently been feuding with several castmates. Now, she is making it known that there are two castmates that she will never be friends with again.
Why was Scheana Shay feuding with Lala Kent?
Shay and Lala Kent had been on good terms until Shay found out that she wasn’t invited to Kent’s gender reveal party.
“We weren’t invited,” she said on her Scheananigans With Scheana Shay podcast. “There’s a priority list. That’s the best thing about pandemic, there’s a priority list. You go, ‘OK, here’s our list of people who should come.’ And we just didn’t fall on that list.”
Before that, Kent and Shay had been on rocky footing after Kent allegedly left Shay to have dinner with celebrities after Shay revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage.
“I was screaming at the top of my lungs. I was devastated,” she said. “[Lala] was just like, ‘I don’t like that, I don’t like that.’ And I was like ‘Yeah I don’t like that either and I don’t like being alone so can you please come over?’ And she was just like, ‘Well, um I’m going to dinner. I needed her and she wasn’t there because she had dinner with celebrities. Let’s be real.”
Scheana says she’ll never be friends with Lala Kent or Stassi Schroeder
Though Shay has been known to go through waves of friendship with cast members, one season being someone’s best friend and then the next feuding with them, Shay has said that she doesn’t think she and Kent will become friends again.
“I unfollowed [Lala],” the reality star said on the Oct. 14 episode of the #NoFilter with Zack Peter podcast. “I never see a friendship with her again. And I am completely fine with that.
“Because honestly, for the last three years, I felt myself forcing a friendship with her because every time she hurts me, she feels bad, she begs for my forgiveness — but, it’s usually when there’s a camera in her face — and I forgive her!” she continued. “And then she does it again. And I forgive her. And then she does it again. And I’m, like, I haven’t wanted this friendship to continue for years. I just, I keep forgiving you. And at this point, I’m done. I’m checked out. I don’t have room for that type of fakeness in my life anymore.”
Shay also unfollowed Stassi Schroeder after receiving a text where Schroeder called her out for reading private text conversations to other people.
“I get a text from her and — you know, here I am, ‘sharing her private messages again,’ — but she basically just said that she had no interest in continuing anything more than surface level with me because she was informed I was reading her private messages to strangers.”
Though Shay didn’t think she did anything wrong, she agreed to just remain surface level aquaintances with Schroeder.
“So, I was like, ‘You know what Stassi, we’ve been surface level for years,” Shay said. “I’m fine continuing that way. I wish you nothing but the best.’ And I just went and unfollowed her because you know what, I don’t follow people that I’m not friends with.”
