‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Gets Candid About Sober Sex With Randall Emmett: ‘I Couldn’t Wait For It to Be Over’

Lala Kent has been sober since 2018. On the Jan. 26 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, the reality star opened up about how her sobriety affected her romantic relationship, particularly her sex life.
“I’ve been sober for over three years, and I had the same partner,” Kent said (via Page Six). “I had sex sober, which I couldn’t wait for it to be over most of the time.”
She went on to say that she hasn’t had sober sex with a new partner “probably since I was 17.” Kent told her guest, RHONJ star Melissa Gorga, “I was sober when I lost my virginity, but after that? I’m a drinker, girl! Like, I’m a bag of fun.”
The reality star added that dating and having sober sex after ending her engagement to Emmett is “new territory” for her. “So not only is it that, like, I’m going into new territory, where it’s like I’m going to be banging it out without an ounce of alcohol in my system,” Kent said. “However, I think it’s going to be fun, because I’ve been like talking to a few people, and I’m like, ‘I f—ing got it. I still got it.’”

On Dec. 13, 2021, Lala Kent posted an Instagram ad for Bellesa, a sex toy company. She posed with a toy in her hand while puckering her lips at the camera.
“‘Tis the season for a little extra self-care!” the reality star captioned the image. “I’m giving away *thousands* of free vibrators and goodies to celebrate the holidays! It’s the best sexy time I’ve had in five years and eight months 😏🥳”
The amount of time Kent described in her post matches her dating timeline with Emmett, so her comment was clearly a dig at her ex-fiancé.
The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star relaunched her podcast without her ex after cheating rumors
Lala Kent’s podcast used to be titled, Give Them Lala … With Randall. Randall Emmett served as Kent’s co-host on the show. The former couple launched the podcast together in January 2020.
Amid cheating rumors, Kent relaunched the podcast after nearly two years to remove Emmett from the show. On Nov. 22, 2021, the reality star debuted the show’s new title and cover art.
The previous artwork showed avatars of Emmett and Kent. The new cover art is a photo of Kent wearing a crown.
“Hello my loves,” Kent introduced her new podcast. “It is Lala Kent and I am so excited to introduce my brand new podcast, Give Them Lala. This is a space where my listeners will be heard, and I have amazing guests lined up.”
She continued, “Of course, we will always spill the tea. We’ll gossip about relationships, sex, betrayal, but most importantly, we will all leave feeling inspired.”
