‘Vanderpump Rules’: Stassi Schroeder Says Editor Bombshell Comments Were ‘Wild’
Although she’s not saying much, Stassi Schroeder from Vanderpump Rules addressed the bombshell comments editor Bri Dellinger made about the series.
Dellinger dished about edits she makes to certain cast members, sharing she goes out of her way to make Scheana Shay look embarrassing. At the same time, she revealed that Bravo, the network which airs Vanderpump Rules, shapes Schroeder and fiancé Beau Clark’s storyline to make them look like heroes.
“Bravo makes a lot of calls too,” she said in the now-deleted audio, Page Six reports. “And Bravo decided that Stassi and Beau were special heroes. And so we do try to have Stassi and Beau in all the shows but it’s a Bravo call and not a Producer Jerry call.”
Schroeder said the remarks were ‘wild’
She discussed the comments, along with sharing updated wedding plans, on Channel Q’s The Morning Beat. Schroeder didn’t want to share too much but admitted the remarks surprised the entire cast.
“I know everything that you read yesterday because it all hit us at the same time,” she stated. “We were seeing everything the way everybody else was. I feel like I shouldn’t even comment on it because I feel like I’ll get in trouble, but it was wild. There were a lot of group chats between the cast going on about that.”
An “inside” unnamed source told Page Six the cast was upset about Dellinger’s assertions, especially when it came to portraying Clark and Schroeder as “heroes” on the series too.
Dellinger also seemed overly concerned with befriending the cast, which may have influenced her edits. “They don’t really think about or talk to us at all,” she said about the cast. “I feel like they should totally want to be friends with me. I know everything about them. Oh, wait! Maybe that’s why they don’t want to be friends with me.”
Schroeder also offered a wedding update
Before diving into the editor shocker, Schroeder provided an update as to where her wedding plans stand with Clark. The couple was supposed to marry in Rome, Italy this fall. Unfortunately, she now admits that plan isn’t likely going to hold.
“The tentative plan is to be getting married in Rome in October, but we both have realized that that’s most likely not happening, but we just can’t bring ourselves to fully pull the plug yet, so we’re just slowly going through the motions, but we’re not actively planning anything right now,” she said.
She added they are waiting and joked, “We’re just sticking our heads in the sand.” Schroeder shares she already chose her dress. “I did that a year ago!” While the couple waits, what about having a baby first?
Schroeder discussed pregnancy on the show before Clark popped the question. But, Schroeder still hopes to get married first. However, “I don’t think we are thinking about it. If it happens it happens. I mean that would derail my wedding plans. I don’t think it’s a full-blown plan.”
