‘Very Cavallari’: Kelly Henderson Says Kristin Cavallari Concocted Their Falling Out for a Storyline

Very Cavallari fans remember when Kristin Cavallari and Kelly Henderson had their falling out. During the Season 3 premiere, the star of the show shared where she and Henderson currently stood. They weren’t talking anymore and neither had plans of reconciling.

Now, Henderson is saying Cavallari created the whole thing for a Very Cavallari storyline.

“The biggest change in my personal life is that my best friend Kelly and I haven’t talked in two months,” Cavallari informed viewers at the beginning of Season 3. “We’ve had a major falling out and it’s just been breaking my heart.”

The falling out occurred after rumors started circulating that Henderson was having an affair with Cavallari’s then-husband, Jay Cutler. Henderson has always denied the rumor and Cavallari never believed it anyway. But she didn’t appreciate how her friend responded to the drama.

“It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it,” she told cameras. 

Cavallari was particularly upset that Henderson mentioned Cutler on Twitter after the rumor popped up. The reality star felt her friend was adding “fuel to the fire.”

“Why do you want to post about that? To get more attention about it,” she said. “If I was accused of having an affair with your husband, I wouldn’t say his f*cking name on social media. Like, come on.”

Additionally, Cavallari didn’t like that Henderson never apologized.

“Instead of her just owning her side of it and being like, ‘I’m sorry! Oh my god, that was never my intention’ or whatever, she kept giving me push back and would get really defensive,” she said. “And then, she literally just stopped responding to me.”

Now, Henderson is speaking out about her side of the story.

In an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on Oct. 29, Henders said she’s “not really sure” why she and Cavallari aren’t friends anymore. She said she received a text from her former friend a week before filming started saying she was upset with her. Immediately, Henderson attempted to call Cavalari back in an attempt to fix whatever the issue was but was unsuccessful.

At the end of the day, Henderson thinks the falling out may have occurred because they needed another storyline for Very Cavallari.

“Unfortunately, I think it played into they needed a storyline for the show,” she said. “So I’m trying to move forward and not be bitter and angry but there was definitely a lot of emotion that came from that for me because I didn’t understand. I still really don’t.”
