‘Vikings’: Clive Standen Posted a Flashback Friday Image That Fans Can’t Get Over

Vikings fans would give anything to see Clive Standen as Rollo once again. He plays a fierce Viking warrior that carved out his own path in life at the expense of everyone else. Rollo was married to Siggy (Jessalyn Gilsig) for a while before her untimely death. They were a power couple of sorts when Rollo wasn’t drunk or cheating on her. Rollo and Siggy were husband and wife

When Rollo was still with the rest of the Vikings, he was married to Siggy for a while. It was during the hardest years of Rollo’s life. After betraying his brother, he finds it hard to come back into the fold. Siggy helps ease the burden for Rollo and she encourages him to drink less. Eventually, thanks to Siggy, Rollo finds his way back to his brother’s side, at least for a time.

Siggy tragically dies while rescuing Ubbe and Hvitserk from a frozen lake. Rollo mourns her loss especially because he knows he didn’t treat her right.

Clive Standen posts a flashback Friday image

Fans are going crazy for Standen’s latest post. It shows a young Rollo looking off somewhere while Siggy looks at Rollo for his reaction. It brings back memories of how badly Rollo treated his wife when she was still alive.

Fans react to Standen’s sweet post

Some fans were quick to tell Standen that Ragnar was the true King of Kattegat, not Rollo. A lot of people seemed to appreciate the post though.

“Team Ragnar coming in hot ⚔️🤣 Rollo was an awesome character that put a cool dynamic to the show 💪🏼 miss these old days,” an Instagram user wrote.

Not everyone agrees that Rollo was the King. “A real king never posts saying that he is the king and I know only of one king Ragnar Lothbrok,” the user said.

Fans really seem to miss Rollo and the dynamic he brought to the show. “I miss Rollo more than I miss most people I actually know and miss,” someone admitted.

Numerous fans admitted to missing the good old days of Vikings. “I miss the old seasons of Vikings 😭,” an Instagram user wrote.

 “I miss you man…. my favorite actor hands down,” another fan wrote.

Many viewers wanted to know if Rollo would return for season 6B of Vikings. Fans really seem to miss the days when Rollo was still in Kattegat with his family and people. He ends up betraying his whole world for power and land. Although he gets what he wants, it would be nice to see an older Rollo’s reaction to everything that’s happened in Kattegat since he last returned.

Hopefully fans will get to see Rollo again before Vikings really ends.
