While traveling with his warriors aboard a ship in season 4, he sees the life he used to have, complete with his old family right before his eyes.
Ragnar notices the waves crash and bring water up into the boat, drenching his shoes. Suddenly he looks at the shore and sees a white horse running across the beach.
