‘Virgin River’: Fans Are Still Losing It Over the Season 3 Cliffhangers
Virgin River is one of Netflix‘s biggest shows. The romantic drama series is based on Robyn Carr’s novels of the same name. The show chronicles the ups and downs of Mel Monroe(Alexandra Breckenridge) after she moves from Los Angeles to Virgin River for a fresh start. A nurse looking for a quieter life, Mel doesn’t expect to fall for retired Marine, Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), who owns Jack’s bar.
The third season of Virgin River has absolutely stunned fans with a series of startling cliffhangers and fans are literally losing it as a result.
‘Virgin River’ Season 3 ended with a ton of cliffhangers
Since the premiere of the third season of Virgin River, the romantic drama has absolutely dominated the streaming ratings, ranking over Loki and even the fan-favorite Manifest. While some fans have been invested since the first season debuted, others binged all three seasons and are keeping the discourse of the show alive on social media.
No matter when you became a Virgin River fan, the third season of the series was quite a lot to deal with. Nearly every character’s fate on the series is up in the air since showrunner Sue Tenney and the writers decided to end things with a massive pile of cliffhangers.
To begin with, amid Jack attempting to propose marriage, Mel reveals that she’s pregnant and she tells him, “I don’t know if you’re the father.” As we know, during their brief breakup, Mel went through a round of IVF using an embryo she created with her late husband Mark (Daniel Gillies) and now her baby’s paternity is up in the air.
Then, Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) was arrested for shooting Jack by their fellow former Marine, Mike (Marco Grazzini). However, it looks like Mike has some dark secrets of his own.
Preacher (Collin Lawrence) has been drugged and left for dead leaving Paige’s (Lexa Doig) son Christopher (Chase Petriw) and Virgin River store owner Connie (Nicola Cavendish) in the hands of Paige’s violent brother-in-law, Wes (Steve Bacic).
Ricky (Grayson Gurnsey) lied to Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) about enlisting in the Marines causing them to break up and it looks like Doc (Tim Matheson) has a grandson he knows nothing about.
Finally, Virgin River Mayor Hope (Annette O’Toole) is in the hospital fighting for her life after a horrific car crash.
