‘Virgin River’: Martin Henderson Just Teased Fans in a Major Way
Netflix still has not announced an official release date for Virgin River Season 4. However, fans are beside themselves after the series of cliffhangers that were in the season 3 finale. The series follows Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) who moves to the small town following some terrible life tragedies. Though she is there to rebuild her life, she finds herself falling for Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), a retired Maine who owns the town’s bar.
As Virgin River fans await a season 4 release date, Henderson is teasing us all on Instagram.
Martin Henderson says ‘Virgin River’ Season 4 will answer a ton of burning questions
The season finale for Virgin River Season 3 ended with a slew of burning questions. Fans are determined to know who actually shot Jack, they have no idea who the father of Mel’s baby is, Doc (Tim Matheson) obviously has a secret, Hope (Annette O’Toole) has finally returned to town and Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) will hopefully have her babies.
We also need to know how Brie (Zibby Allen) will react to Brady’s (Ben Hollingsworth) arrest. Henderson says fans will find out all they want to know in due time.
“I can’t tell you too much because it’ll give it away, but you find out what’s going on,” Henderson told The Digital Fix via Hello. I’m just going to say that season four reveals and answers all the questions but then presents some more. I think season four is going to be really satisfying for people because of that giant cliffhanger. There were multiple cliffhangers, which gives a little love/hate situation for the audience, where they love but hate the wait. It’s going to be worth it because the writers really answer that stuff. I think people will be satisfied.”
Martin Henderson just teased fans with a shirtless photo
Until then, the Grey’s Anatomy alum is content with teasing fans on Instagram. Henderson recently posted a shirtless photo of himself. Though the photo was about him promoting his friend’s lien brand Ecoist, fans are eager to see more of shirtless Henderson as Jack when Virgin River does return.
The actor captioned the photo, “Was sent this lovely linen towel from my friend dear friend who has the coolest store @ecoist.world and I promised her I’d promote it. It’s just to the right of me.”
Henderson has also been known to share behind-the-scenes photos from the Virgin River set. Since season 4 is set to drop sometime this year, we hope to see more of that in the future.
Fans are hoping that a ‘Virgin River’ Christmas special is in the works
What’s On Netflix is reporting that filming for season 5 of the series is due to begin on July 1st, 2022. This is about a four-month delay from when the show was originally supposed to go back into production.
“Season five, we were supposed to start in March,” Breckenridge revealed via Express. “But we’ve been pushed so… I don’t know. I don’t know man. I’m hoping that maybe we’ll start in the summer. It would be nice to film in Vancouver in the summer rather than the winter.”
Since there will be a gap of time between the debuts of seasons 4 and 5, fans are hoping that Netflix will also give us a Christmas special.
