Virgin River Season 4 is slated to be released sometime this year. The Netflix drama is based on Robyn Carr’s book series. The TV Show follows the romance between Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse who moves to the small town to heal, and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), who owns the town’s bar.

At the end of season 3, the couple’s relationship came to a major crossroads. However, Breckenridge says things will be enjoyable for the pair in season 4.

Netflix has not announced a release date for ‘Virgin River’ Season 4

Since Virgin River Season 3 premiered in July 2021, it’s likely that the fourth season will premiere around the same time this year. After all, we know that filming is complete and that the episodes are making their way through post-production.

“Obviously, we’re going to watch Mel and Jack navigate the baby that we don’t know who the father is,” Breckenridge said during an Instagram Live via Hello. ” So that should be enjoyable. And they never actually get engaged at the end of season three. So we’ll see if they end up getting engaged in season four or not.”

Mel and Jack will have an enjoyable season 4

Mel interrupted Jack’s marriage proposal with her pregnancy announcement. We also know that Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) has been arrested for shooting Jack. Along with Preacher’s (Colin Lawrence) drugging and Charmaine’s (Lauren Hammersly) pregnancy, all of this will certainly cause some major tension with the couple.

Still, Breckenridge says overall; the pair are in for an enjoyable season 4. “I told Jack that I was pregnant when he was about to propose at the end of season three. So obviously, we’re going to watch Mel and Jack navigate the baby that we don’t know who the father is,” she told Glamour via Southern Living. “So that should be enjoyable. And they never actually get engaged at the end of season three. So, we’ll see if they end up getting engaged in season four or not.”

‘Virgin River’ Season 4 will be supersized

Since there is so much ground to cover after that shocking season 3 finale, the fourth season of Virgin River is slated to be 12 episodes instead of the standard 10. Henderson and Virgin River showrunner Sue Tenney has promised that fans will be left very satisfied when it’s all said and done.

“I can’t tell you too much because it’ll give it away, but you find out what’s going on,” Henderson told The Digital Fix via Hello. I’m just going to say that season four reveals and answers all the questions but then presents some more. I think season four is going to be really satisfying for people because of that giant cliffhanger. There were multiple cliffhangers, which gives a little love/hate situation for the audience, where they love but hate the wait. It’s going to be worth it because the writers really answer that stuff. I think people will be satisfied.”

We’re just going to have to wait to see what happens when it finally debuts.
