News via Hello! “It would be immensely difficult. That would be extremely challenging, especially for Jack. If he’s gonna stick around, if he’s devoted to Mel, that’s gonna be hard to have a baby that’s her dead husband’s baby. That’s just, like, asking a lot.”
Additionally, Brie (Zibby Allen) will be stuck between Brady and Jack. Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) may give birth to her twins, and fans are also anticipating the return of Hope (Annette O’Toole) to Virgin River.
‘Virgin River’ Season 4 will premiere July 20, 2022
Though Netflix has not yet announced the release date for the series, What’s On Netflix has revealed the release date as July 20. Since the third season debuted in July 2021, this new release date makes sense as it aligns with the previous one. Netflix has not yet released a log-line for the season, but we know it is expected to span 12 episodes instead of the standard 10.
Henderson has also promised that all of the fans burning questions from season 3 will be answered. “I can’t tell you too much because it’ll give it away, but you find out what’s going on,” he told The Digital Fix via Hello. I’m just going to say that season four reveals and answers all the questions but then presents some more. I think season four is going to be really satisfying for people because of that giant cliffhanger. There were multiple cliffhangers, which gives a little love/hate situation for the audience, where they love but hate the wait. It’s going to be worth it because the writers really answer that stuff. I think people will be satisfied.”
Fans will learn who shot Jack in season 4
The fourth season of Virgin River concluded filming around the holidays in 2021, but Henderson says he’s known who shot Jack for quite some time. The showrunner Sue Tenney has promised that the culprit will be revealed in season 4.
“The audience will be genuinely surprised at who’s behind all of it,” Tenney told TV Insider. She added, “If we get the actual reveal [in season 4], it would detail more of how this all was intertwined. The webbing of that story goes all the way back to the first season, so it’s a connective tissue that goes through four seasons.”
