Can anime fans stream ‘Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2’?
Domestic anime fans have had issues finding the best way to watch many of their favorite franchises. However, streaming services have made the process less painful. They have made more of an effort to invest in anime content right after it airs in Japan.
It has been confirmed that Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 will air in Japan on the NHK General channel. However, they haven’t officially confirmed other viewing options for the new season.
Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 1 had a specific viewing format on December 7, 2020. In addition to its television premiere in Japan, it was also available on streaming services Funimation and Crunchyroll in Japanese with English subtitles. Adult Swim’s Toonami began playing it on Jan. 9, while Funimation released the English dub on Jan. 10.
Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 will likely follow suit. Games Radar confidently states that fans can expect the show on Funimation and Crunchyroll as a “simulcast.” This means that episodes in Japanese with English subtitles will air the same day that they play in Japan.
There’s still no confirmation on an exact premiere date or an episode count. However, there’s some speculation around a mid-January premiere date.
