How to Watch Disney’s Magical Christmas Parade in 2024
It wouldn’t be Christmas without some Disney magic. The annual Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade tradition continues in 2024 with another star-studded event. This year’s parade is hosted by Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro and features performances from Elton John, Pentatonix, and John Legend, among others. It airs on Dec. 25 on ABC and Disney+.

The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade airs Christmas morning, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m. EST; 9 a.m. CST; 5 a.m. MST; and 5 a.m. PST on ABC. It streams at 11 a.m. EST; 10 a.m. CST; and 8 a.m. PST on Disney+.

Elton John, John Legend perform at the 2024 Christmas parade
The 2024 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade was recorded at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida; Disneyland Resort in California; Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko’Olina, Hawaiʻi; and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in the Bahamas.
Performers at this year’s parade include Elton John (“Tiny Dancer”), John Legend (“This Christmas”) Pentatonix (“12 Days of Christmas”), and SEVENTEEN (“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”). Disney on Broadway Stars Kalilah Black, Lauren Nicole Chapman, Daniel Gardner, Bradley Gibson, Marq Moss, Amber Owens, Melaina Rairamo, John Riddle, Michael James Scott, and Jessica White will also perform, as will the cast of Descendants: The Rise of Red. Andy Grammer and Junkanoo Celebration Performers will sing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and Anika Noni Rose will perform “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)”
For John, the chance to appear in the parade is a special one for him and his family.
“It feels fantastic – my kids are gonna love it because they’re Walt Disney fanatics, as are we,” he told On the Red Carpet. The “Rocket Man” singer shares two sons with his husband David Furnish.
Carly Pearce, who will perform “(Everybody’s Waitin’ For) The Man With the Bag,” also felt fortunate to participate in a long-standing holiday tradition. (The parade celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023.)
“When I think of Christmas and when I think of Disney, I think of two of the most magical and just joyous times of the year,” she said. “It’s very nostalgic and just I’m really honored to get to be here.”
