What happens to Alex and Bradley in Season 2?
Viewers flocked to watch The Morning Show trailer when it dropped for season 2. In two jam-packed minutes, UBA continues to blow up. Following the sexual misconduct scandal with Mitch Kessler (Carell), Aniston’s character, Alex, left the morning news show. The trailer begins with Crudup’s character, Cory Ellison, begging Alex to return to the show.
“The game is changing,” Cory says in The Morning Show Season 2 trailer. “My job is to ensure the stability of UBA. Alex, I need you to come back. You are the only thing that can save us. I don’t think I’ve ever said that before.”
The new season tackles the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and racial injustice in the workplace.
“There’s a pattern of behavior around here that disadvantages people of color,” Daniel Henderson (Desean Terry) tells Mia Jordan (Karen Pittman).
In The Morning Show Season 1, Daniel co-hosted the weekend edition of TMS. However, he hoped for a spot as co-anchor on the daily weekday show. From the trailer, it looks like he’s pushed out again.
