Wendy Williams Clowns Her Ex-Husband Over His Extramarital Affair and Baby
Wendy Williams is reveling in the single life since her divorce from Kevin Hunter. Williams admits she’s enjoying the dating scene and wants to marry again. But, she will never forget the pain and embarrassment of Hunter’s affair with his mistress, and subsequent love child. Williams pokes fun at the situation in a new Instagram post.
Wendy Williams’ ex-husband had a baby with his longtime mistress while still married to Williams
Hunter met his longtime mistress Sharina Hudson through The Breakfast Club host, Charlamagne Tha God. Charlemagne and Hudson grew up together in South Carolina.
At the time of Hunter and Hudson’s meeting, Hunter says Hudson was an aspiring model that he was interested in managing. Their relationship eventually turned physical.
“He [Charlamagne] really liked shorty [Hudson]. [Charlamagne] used to tow her to me like, ‘Yo, she the baddest girl in town, nobody can’t get her,” Hunter said in an interview with Tasha K. “He [Charlamagne] did not expect for us to hit it off the way we did. I didn’t expect it, I know she [Hudson] didn’t.”
In 2017, The Daily Mail released an exposé of Hunter and Hudson’s affair. The report alleges that Hunter split his time between Williams and Hudson. A year later, rumors about Hudson’s pregnancy began.
Hudson reportedly gave birth to her first child with Hunter in Philadelphia in 2019. Williams announced that after over 20 years of marriage, she and Hunter were divorcing.

Despite the emotional turmoil of her divorce, Williams isn’t exempt from joking about her own situation – or at minimum, throwing shade.
“Kevin has a daughter. Kevin had a major indiscretion that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life,” Williams said in an interview with The New York Times as reported by Access Hollywood. “An indiscretion that I will not deal with.”
Williams says she learned of the affair earlier than many believe but that she kept quiet until she sorted out her affairs privately.
In a new Instagram post, Williams pokes fun at her ex and his baby daughter. “Look @ me with my baby girl. I’m not the only Hunter with a baby situation,” Williams captioned a photo of her holding a friend’s baby.
What is the current status of Wendy Williams’ relationship with Kevin Hunter?
Williams is living her best single life in her Manhattan apartment. After over a year on the market, she and Hunter finally sold their marital home, a New Jersey mansion.
Hunter did not walk away from the divorce empty-handed. Before their split, Hunter was Williams’ manager and business partner. He reportedly received a severance package from The Wendy Williams Show after his firing.

All funds from their joint bank accounts were left to Williams, as well as any shares Hunter had in Wendy Williams Productions Inc. Williams remains the sole owner of Wendy, Inc. Hunter reportedly received a cash settlement toward a new home.
Williams insists that she and Hunter are “family” and will remain friends for the sake of their adult son and as an honor to their previous relationship.
