Wendy Williams has been pretty candid about her personal life. Her relationship with her now ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, was played out in public for over two decades. With her new Lifetime biopic Wendy Williams: The Movie, Williams is getting candid about her past relationships before her marriage.
Though Williams has been open about her past romance with rapper Eric B., the movie reveals little known details about her time with the DJ. It turns out that their relationship had a lot more friction and drama than many people realized previously.

Much is known about Williams’s marriage to Hunter. The ending of their relationship was chronicled in the public when it was revealed that Hunter had a live-in girlfriend for years and that they had welcomed a child together when he was still married to the talk show host.
However, Williams’s new Lifetime biopic, Wendy Williams: The Movie, reveals her sordid dating history before her marriage to Hunter. Williams revealed that R&B singer Sherrick raped her in the ’80s.
“I was just all gaga over this man, and he asked me to go to an album release party with him that night,” she revealed to Yahoo! “Before the party, I was date-raped by him. After that, I found out he had spent time in jail. I was also date raped in college. Those types of things happen to girls all the time.”
Williams also revealed more details about her relationship with rapper, Eric B.

Though Williams chronicles her marriage to her Hunter, including her miscarriages, Hunter’s infidelity, and her tumultuous divorce, she refuses to go into detail about her first marriage. In the film, Williams only briefly refers to the first marriage saying that it wasn’t worth mentioning.
Williams was married to her first husband, Bert Girigorie, for just five months in 1994. Other than the fact that he was a businessman, no one knows much about Girigorie. In her autobiography Wendy’s Got The Heat, Williams doesn’t detail the relationship either. She only calls him by his pseudonym, Robert Morris III.

Williams’ year-long relationship with Eric B — DJ for rap icon Rakim was tumultuous. “So, I never really knew Ra back in the day, I knew Eric B, intimately,” she told her audience on The Wendy Williams Show via Page Six. “A couple of very severe things happened to me while I was involved with Eric B., life lessons, and you’ll see it because the movie’s a teachable moment. While it’s gonna be very dramatic, it’s a teachable moment.”
In Wendy Williams: The Movie, it was revealed that Eric B ruined Williams’ credit and repeatedly cheated on her. At the end of their relationship, the talk show host discovered she was pregnant, and she decided to end the pregnancy in secret.
