When it comes to her favorite TV shows, Swift doesn’t hesitate to list what she currently loves. In fact, there are so many right now that she had to stop herself before she went on too long. Swift named Downton Abbey, Killing Eve, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy among her top favorites.
Outside of the previously mentioned shows, Swift is a huge fan of Game of Thrones. But this isn’t new news to longtime Swifties. Swift previously revealed that she was so obsessed with the popular fantasy show that it found its way into her music.
Swift began watching the show in 2016, managing to stay away from most spoilers. She said by the time she was working on her “Reputation” album that she was completely obsessed. She told Entertainment Weekly, “These songs were half based on what I was going through, but seeing them through a Game of Thrones filter,” she continued, “‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is literally Arya Stark’s kill list.”
The singer even admits that the show has affected her songwriting, “My entire outlook on storytelling has been shaped by [Thrones] — the ability to foreshadow stories, to meticulously craft cryptic story lines,” she says. “So, I found ways to get more cryptic with information and still be able to share messages with the fans.”
What is Swift’s favorite Netflix movie?
When asked about her favorite movie, Swift told DeGeneres that she is currently loving the movie Someone Great. The movie was released on Netflix this year and stars Gina Rodriguez, Brittany Snow, and DeWanda Wise.
The movie is about a young woman who has recently broken up with her boyfriend and is struggling to move on. She relies on her friends to help her get through her heartache and focus on her future.

Ellen has a knack for getting celebrities to open up on her show, particularly during her “Burning Questions” segment.
When asked what she does when she can’t sleep, Swift replied that she goes downstairs and rummages through the kitchen “like a raccoon in a dumpster.” The singer admitted that she doesn’t remember doing it and “it’s not really voluntary,” to which Ellen joked that it sounds like she sleep-eats and that we’re learning something different than we asked about. She continued, “It sounds like you’ve got an issue.” Swift replied “yep,” and hit the buzzer to move on.
The former country star also revealed that she thinks that talking about her breakup with Joe Jonas on The Ellen Show was her biggest act of teenage rebellion. She says the two laugh about it now but admits that “that was some mouthy teenage stuff.”
