What Is Comedian and TV Host Jeff Foxworthy’s Net Worth?
You may know Jeff Foxworthy as a comedian, TV host, author, and self-proclaimed “redneck” but did you know he’s a collector as well. Now, the 61-year-old has a brand new series in which he and a group experts search the country for rare collectibles that could be worth a ton of cash.
The show is appropriately titled What’s It Worth? and ahead of the premiere, some fans are asking what is the comic’s net worth? Here’s the answer to that, plus all the details about Foxworthy’s new gig.
‘What’s It Worth?’ is virtual
Foxworthy is on a mission to find all kinds of hidden treasures, virtually that is. He and the experts will connect remotely with folks who have collected relics and other keepsakes and will evaluate what those items are worth.
The description of the show on A&E’s website reads, “From the comfort of their homes, Foxworthy and a team of experts may visit your state, town or even someone you know to examine a variety of heirlooms, trinkets and treasures to help people determine if they are sitting on a gold mine, or if they are just holding on to items for sentimental value. With objects ranging from pop-culture keepsakes to historical relics and odd mementos, viewers will be surprised by what is uncovered as they hear the personal stories behind these hidden treasures, some of which are equally as impressive as the dollar value that’s revealed.”
What’s It Worth? has been called a virtual take on Antiques Roadshow.
Following the premiere, viewers will be able to bid on some of things uncovered via What’s It Worth: Live.
“The on-going partnership with Jeff Foxworthy, a one of a kind collector, in both What’s It Worth? and What’s It Worth? Live allows us to expand on the traditional genre with a modern and digital twist,” Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for A&E Network said, according to Slanted.
What’s It Worth? will air Aug. 4 at 9/8c.
