What Is the One Thing Stassi Schroeder’s Boyfriend Didn’t Do When He Met Lisa Vanderpump?
Stassi Schroeder’s new boyfriend Beau Clark finally met the queen bee at Vanderpump Rules. In the past, Schroeder didn’t have the best of luck when a new boyfriend met Lisa Vanderpump. In fact, her last boyfriend, Patrick Meagher did one super cringy thing.
But, for as nervous as Schroeder was for the meeting to occur, Clark’s comfortable charm ultimately won Vanderpump over. During the episode, Vanderpump commented on how Clark really complimented Schroeder. Plus it seems like Schroder finally found someone who lets her really be herself. So is it true love and has Schroeder’s prince finally arrived? Also, what was the one thing Clark didn’t do that Meagher (unfortunately) did?
Schroder shares Vanderpump’s observation
In an interview with ET, Schroeder echoed what Vanderpump said about Clark. “I can just be myself [with him],” she said. “Legitimately, I feel so comfortable and happy and I just have fun and he just, literally, just I love him for him and he loves me for me … I just want to be around him all the time. And I’ve really never had that, which is kinda sad, I guess. But, I have it now.”
She also said, “He’s my best friend. I would legit die if something happened to him.” And the feeling appears to be mutual too. “I love it,” he told ET. “‘Beau, Stassi’s boyfriend,’ I should just change that as my last name!”
Schroeder was still nervous for Clark to meet Vanderpump
It was the moment of truth for Schroeder when she introduced Clark to Vanderpump during the Pride celebration. “I was probably most nervous to introduce Beau to Lisa because Lisa’s tough! You never know what you’re gonna get. You never know,” Schroeder said, Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports. “And she asks the hard questions, the awkward questions.” In fact, Schroeder said during the episode that meeting Vanderpump was like meeting her father. “But it’s worse, its totally worse,” Schroeder said.
She looked nervous as she approached Vanderpump, who was meeting fans and Pride revelers at SUR. But Vanderpump seemed genuinely thrilled to meet Clark. She asked if Beau changed his name to fit as “Stassi’s beau” but he told her it was actually his nickname. His real name is Bogie.
The meeting went well
Vanderpump inquired how the couple met. Clark and Schroeder revealed that cast member Kristen Doute introduced them. In fact, she was the one who connected Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz. “So she does come in useful sometimes,” Vanderpump exclaimed. Vanderpump famously fired Doute in a previous season and the two have shared a tepid relationship.
Vanderpump jokes about how Clark doesn’t mention this
When Meagher met Vanderpump last season, he couldn’t stop talking about Vanderpump’s backside. During the meeting with Clark, Vanderpump smiled and said to Schroeder, “He hasn’t mentioned my ass yet,” with a giggle. Indeed, Meagher mentioned Vanderpump’s rump several times during the quick encounter, which came off as rude and aggressive.
“I promise that I’ll never talk about your butt,” Clark said shyly laughing. “I will never. I’m not that guy.” He said laughing and looking at Schroeder while turning a little red. He added “My mom is a relationship therapist because she said, ‘thank God for her ex-boyfriend’ because it made me look like…’here I am!'”
